Can I use The keyword "Facebook" in my Google Ad in Adwords?
It is a brand, so would fall under the Trademark Policy, and will be held most probably and reviewed on a per case basis http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=6118 I say this not from experience, but because a Google Search with a few searches I did with Facebook resulted no PPC - So I assume Facebook has asked google to not allow this as part of TM policy - But a few queries like "How to use Facebook" had a few advertisers. So it probably is dependent on words used in conjunction and what you are selling/promoting - And I assume they always take the cautionary view, due to the competitve nature of these two companies I also found some people in forums who said they were suspended for this. Hope this helps

Improving page rank for a social media profile?
There are a handful of Social media websites that offer do follow links, like the newer Pinterest business page, or a Crunch Base page. I have even come across people that have do follow links from the Flickr profile that has a Page rank of 5. I agree that I don't want to waste to much time on this, but I have seen some people that have taken this idea to a whole new level.

AuthorRank - The main aim for SEO?
I can't say that my CTR has increased. Nothing noticable.

Can You Aggregate Likes from Pages on Your Site to Your Homepage?
Charles, what are saying in your question is correct. "Liking" a specific URL will not add those "likes" to your Facebook page's fan list and vise versa. "like" Button = a specific URL, separate from your Facebook page "like" Box = a specific Facebook page, which adds to your Facebook fan list but to the specific URL

Is it possible to get high page ranking with no social media activity?
If all things being equal between two sites, if one firm has social media, they will probably outrank the ones that doesn't. This creates a domino effect where more firms will adopt social media marketing to keep up. So as time increases, I can see it becoming more and more difficult to get ranked high for competitive keywords w/out social media. For long-tails, I think you can rank high organically for many years/decades to come.

Does it matter waht email address you use for twitter?
doesn't matter at all! the worth of the account matter from your level of interaction and engagement in the community.

Would you guest post on this website?
It's easy to overcomplicate these things. Is it a good site? Is it relevant? Do they allow anyone to guest post or are the guest posts always quality and relevant? If it's relevant, quality and visible in search then go for it. Hope that helps! Marcus

What could Google+ do for your SEO?
There are a few opportunities from Google+ the biggest of which is the impact a +1 for your site can have on the results of signed in users. Beyond that, posts are indexed and you can create followed links from them so the more authority you build there, the more shares your posts get, I would imagine the more weight those links would carry. I am unaware of any kind of experiment on this as it is hard to implement but there is certainly the ability to build links, improve visibility for logged in users and see your Google+ posts indexed as well. Likewise, much like how you would comment on blogs or discussions, leaving high quality comments on high profile threads could drive traffic and raise your own visibility. Experiment and let me know how you get on. Marcus

Facebook fan page does not show up in Google Search
You are not showing up on Bing either. Do you have Country and Age restrictions set on the FB page? Try leaving the Country blank and the Age restriction to Anyone (13+). If you have a G+ page, make sure you have your FB page listed/linked on your G+ profile.

How to coordinate blog, facebook and twitter.
Hey Kevin From a simple perspective, this is perfect. There are tools that will take your blog post and push it out to twitter and facebook but ideally you want to do this manually so each post can be unique. If your blog content drives inbound traffic and you can convert these folks to social media this will ensure they see more of your content on a regular basis and will build your reputation and credibility (assuming the content is solid). Google+ can be interesting as well and your posts referencing your posts can contain a followed link and can themselves get indexed and returned in search results so don't neglect this fledgling network. If you connect with your customers via LinkedIn you could also post a link to your articles there and again keep yourself in the mind of your clients and prospects all the more. Ultimately though, it sounds as if you are doing the right thing. Build great content, build a readership, share with social. Hope that helps. Marcus

Like .vs Share Button - for SEO which is better?
Seems that way, but therein lies the value and appeal. Harder to get, but more valuable when you do. It'll be equally as hard for your competitors and others, so if you can crack it, it's a great string to your bow.

Page Speed and Social sharing bookmarks - how to balance
Thx Steve. I'm just installed it...or so I thought. I activated it, but it doesn't seem to be appearing. Let me know if you have any advice. Not sure if I need to format it somewhere. I'm going to try to check. But, let me know if I'm missing something. Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. You go to settings, then Discussion and then find WP Socialite and choose options. Of course, now, all my settings say 0 even though I previously had +'s, etc. Thanks again.

Have you tried Google image search ? Just upload one image then you will get all results where that image is used. I think its going to play good role seo but I don't know how ? Let me guess : I think if we have same profile picture then it will going to help more because Google can able to recognize those profiles. I am not sure.

Depends on what i pick home page keywords ?
Honestly, you are going to be in a VERY competitive market. If I were you, I would do an analysis on your competitors. Lets say a primary keyword for your homepage would be: [social media management] When I run that keyword, I see that it is a HIGHLY competitive keyword with decent monthly searches. But look who holds top positions in the SERPS: 1. mashable.com 2. maximizesocialmedia.com 3. sproutsocial.com 4. fanpilot.com 5. spredfast.com Did you notice that HootSuite isn't even on the 1st page? Yet that is HootSuite's #1 keyword that they are targeting. HootSuite has a PR8 home page yet SproutSocial out ranks it with a PR6 and less links, etc. One thing I did notice was that SproutSocial has a responsive website and a significantly faster load time. Honestly, my advice to you would be to look at what your competitors choose as keywords for their homepage and diversify. If they choose [social media management] then find something like [professional social media management]... don't buy an aged domain or EMDs... you're going to have to win this battle on the uniqueness of your brand and services. Setup your website for good SEO but don't expect to get a lot of traction... you really need to do a lot of outbound marketing via SMS, email, ads, cold calling, networking, and of course social media.
