  • Hello! I just ran the page through the Facebook debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.laserfiche.com%2F which re-caches the page, and it looks like it's pulling the logo fine? It is doing a 302 redirect to the US-EN version of the site that you might want to check into (not sure if it should be a 301 or not?). If ever you have an issue with Facebook, be sure to run the debugger to get the page re-cached. I find that often helps! Hope that helped a bit. Jen

  • For anyone searching for a similar topic: The plugin mentioned above is not in sync with Facebooks new developer guidelines. But I found this is working: https://wordpress.org/plugins/fatpanda-facebook-comments/

  • Irvco, I checked with our head of Local, Amber, who I consider an expert and she states as follows: You don't have to add a special character. It just depends what vanity URL's have already been generated by Google and accepted by the listing manager. Sometimes you don't have the option of adding characters. You can either accept the vanity URL or keep what you have.I hope that helps you out, Best,Robert

  • Hi Steve, You've asked some good questions! Say, would you mind opening a new thread for each one (i.e., one question at a time)? Please be as specific as possible when writing the headline for a new thread, as well as the question itself.  Thanks! Christy

  • Thanks for feedback Spencer The page that facebook removed from me was www.facebook.com/wildatlanticway  (no longer active) Over the past year through a combination of posting quality content and paid advertising (with facebook) I had achieved 20,000 likes. All of these likes have been transferred to a new page (which yesterday had 700 likes) www.facebook.com/irelandswaw The Wild Atlantic Way is being promoted by Ireland's tourism board and I quote directly from their reply to me below "You may remember that I called you some weeks back to discuss the Facebook Wildatlanticway url. As you are aware, there is a trademark issue regarding the use of this .url and we requested that you transfer the url back to us as we are the agency who developed the Wild Atlantic Way and are currently working to bring it to as wide an audience as possible to promote Ireland as a holiday destination. "While I appreciate that you have put some time and effort into developing the Facebook page, the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ as a brand and proposition belongs to Fáilte Ireland.  Following official discussions with personnel at  Facebook, we have learned that we have a right to this url (as the owner and promoter of the Wild Atlantic Way) and Facebook have transferred the page into our possession. Facebook informed me that they would be contacting you about this but I gauge from your email that this may not have happened yet." Tourism Ireland spend a lot of money with facebook and have the advantage of meeting directly with them at their offices in Dublin. I can't even get a reply to an email Brian

  • As Silkstream says, the practice itself isn't spammy but it has been thoroughly abused by "SEOs" in the past to the extent that it should be done with care and for non-SEO purposes only. Firstly, it's not really likely to help your SEO anymore. Most of the links you will gain will be nofollowed, and while there is some reason to believe that a LOT of high quality nofollow activity (like you might get from a very successful viral campaign) is a good signal, it's not technically an important metric for SEO and shouldn't be treated as such. You should be bookmarking where it would make sense to share / save content for other marketing purposes, with SEO taking a very far back seat as a reason why.

  • You might also try this one recently published on the Moz blog by @CyrusShephard : http://moz.com/blog/google-plus-correlations

  • Sadly there is not a way to do this in Moz. Your best bet is to do a trial of True Social Metrics, as they have all that info! You can also check out Rival IQ, and see which works best for you. Hope that helps!

  • It has to be on the homepage and most significant pages of your website. it doesn't hurt to have them on other pages is just that they do it in order to link your website with google plus profiles.

  • I would say share not only your stories but others from news sites in your niche as well.  Try to become a "Top Contributor" in those groups on LinkedIn and usually your stories will get more attention and interaction.

  • Strongly recommend Ahrefs and also - http://www.openlinkprofiler.org/ I know you said money isn't a problem but OLP is free and does a killer job, including lots of info that other checkers don't have.

  • I'm not sure if I would do it that way. First, look at your analytics for each language, and see which ones it makes sense to accommodate. Remember, it's not just setting up all the profiles, it's also having to update them all separately. Extra time spent for how much of a return? Also, because of your business type, will people really interact with the social side of your business? Or are you setting it up solely for search engine validation purposes? I'm not an expert as this, but I'm betting most platforms have a translator built in. Here is a link I found for Facebook. You probably want to check out the others for yourself and see what is available. http://www.cnet.com/news/facebook-moves-into-international-translation-efforts/

  • Hi, If the notice was revoked due to you nofollowing the bad outbound links, this means that a penalty has been lifted. However, there could be other issues affecting the site that have caused its drop - ranking 8th is not an indication of a penalty - penalised websites tend to rank a lot worse than this. The inbound links Marie has cited could be part of the problem, even though you have not received a warning about them. If they are no longer helping (but were helping back when Google's standards were a little lower), then it's feasible Google has raised the rankings of other websites over yours, even though their Moz metrics have not yet caught up.

  • I can help you only with twitter: https://twitter.com/search?q=""http://moz.com""&src=typd Just replace the http://moz.com with your domain. For Facebook or Linkedin I don't think you can do that, but you can find people who liked your Facebook page or who shared your Facebook posts.
