We ended up discovering that Google was very slow to update the console.  Where other crawlers will crawl on demand and provide results in a couple of hours, in comparison, Google is about 3-4 days behind.  We also heard that they have been having issues with the crawler lately which is what led to them temporarily disabling the "Request Indexing" button.  So we look at Google now but only as a delayed reference after having used other tools like Moz and Screaming Frog. We found all of our answers using these other tools. We just wait patiently to know that eventually we are in Google's good graces.

Great explanation about search console error. I had faced the same issue in the search console with some my of keywords related to Check Iqama Expiry. But now, it's working fine.

Structure like a theme dont change the content, so yes you can safely change that. The URL's will remain the same as well so that shoud'nt cause an issue at all.

You could do "site:yoururl.com" in google search to see what's indexed in Google.

Hi there, feels like there's a couple levels to this. You mention you "posted" the backlink, is that on a forum, in a comment or something? I would be careful there - Google is actively on the lookout for people attempting to manipulate rankings by posting backlinks places. Particularly in places like forums Google can ignore posted links or flag them as suspicious which would actively harm your site. What's more, forums can automatically mark links as nofollow if they are posted, to avoid Google seeing the site as spammy. Given your description of this situation it sounds like your link CAN'T be marked as nofollow but something to bear in mind in general. In terms of whether Google will pay attention to this specific link, I think it could be used to DISCOVER the page but I wouldn't expect it to act as an authority signal the way a direct link would. You don't need to create many category on same topics.  Google is very smart and know very well about customer need.

You might be able to first remove the /Login URL + variants from Google (+ noindex it) and once it is removed, add the Disallow so it doesn't get crawled so no crawl budget is wasted on the probably low-content-value login URL.

No, it's called a change in search behavior and we haven't noticed in travel, not anything that comes close to an algorithm update.

Thanks for your insight there Martjin, super helpful. Yes, the Google drive was what I thought we'd use if there was no SEO  advantage to having people view/download on our site.

Invest in content. Ensure that you have a good amount of unique content for each page, push for photography and balance out the ratio of pre-generated content (sidebars, footers etc. that are shared across pages) and the unique content to the page so that it's more favourable. I imagine that users are making these pages rather than yourself so perhaps you need to take an editorial stance here. One option would be to "nofollow" links to this page by default (or perhaps NOINDEX the page entirely) unless you're satisfied that they're acceptable links. Alternatively you might want to consider asking more precise questions when users fill out the form so that there's little room for them to write 'bad content' and you can provide more valuable information in a consistent format to your users.

I would only use a specific schema on specific pages it adds to the site gives google a way to show the content/data in new ways Like the home page should have Local Plastic Surgery markup The blog should have post markup The contact us page should have  local business mark up as well with the address never mark up any content that's not visible to google. Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that your site has taken a hit by latest Google Algo update. That sucks. I do not think that your drop has anything to do with the spam score Moz'z metrics give you, as Google does not look at private metrics for their rankings. I'd strongly recommend you to look closer to your website, specifically pages and queries that you are seeing a loss in traffic and rankings. Looking at the pages that now rank where your website used to rank could give you some hints about why you've taken a hit. Then, I'd take a deep read and try to understand what other factors might be affecting your high spam score website, compared to the ones with low scores.
