Google Pagerank Update
There has been a TOOLBAR pagerank update pushed out in the past day. It's the first time in six months that the toolbar has been updated with the data that changes on a very frequent basis behind the scenes. Lots of places are discussing it, there are some links from the Search Engine Roundtable post at http://www.seroundtable.com/june-2011-google-pagerank-13615.html.

Is it necessary to choose local server?
You may also want to consider using a hosting service with a Content Delivery Network (CDN). This simultaneously has your content on multiple servers in various locations close to your visitors. It then servers up the the site using the server closest to your visitor causing it to load faster. It is becoming more popular to provide users with a better experience.

International SEO and Webmaster Tools
Google's own guidelines say the following: If your site targets users in a particular location, you can provide us with information that will help determine how your site appears in search results, and also improve our search results for geographic queries. You can only use this feature for sites with a neutral top-level domain, such as .com or .org. Country-specific domains, such as .ie or .fr, are already associated with a country or region. If you don't want your site associated with any location, select Unlisted. I have to admit that I have never actually set the website as unlisted but instead left it up to Google to determine where to serve. So far haven't noticed any issues.

My blog not appear in google today
It always helps a lot if you can share the URL so we can take a closer look. when i put my blog URL in google i found it If you found your URL still listed in Google, then you have not been penalized in terms of having your site removed from the Google index. when i searched for any post title it not appear How exactly did you perform this search? How far did you look? Without looking at the site, we can only guess. Please share the URL if you can.

I need suggestions. We're helping a big journal to improve their external links, even though they've a site with over 10 million monthly visits, their external links are week. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Indeed, site is very well ranked, but we think it should be better placed, and one indicator which is not strong enough is links, so that's why we think we should work hard on it.

International SEO - 1 Question
Hi Jakub It is difficult to answer this without more information however it may be that there is more competition for the keyword in the US than the other regions so there may be more sites targeting the term and more sites that have optimised their site for the term. It may be that the sites link profile is strong enough compared to its UK/Canadian competitors but not when compared to the US sites. it may be worth doign some competitor analysis to see how your site stacks up against the top US sites that are ranking for that term.

The best SEO practice for a .hk domain
With the .hk top level domain you'll have enough of an indicator to get localized boost so you could continue to maintain hosting in a different location. A few things to check in to: 1. Localized load times. Do HK customers experience slow or speedy load times of the site? 2. Customer privacy. Is the hosting in a country that matches up well with HK (or UK) laws on privacy? 3. Localized conversion rates. Does having a site with the HK extension help or hinder conversions? Most of the other best practices when it comes to domains are going to be pretty universal and similar to what you've done with your others I'm guessing.

Google Directory Listings in multiple countries
Hi, Yes this is fully correct, google is using the directores ODD and this is normaly, my websites have the same thing, because the ODD is in multiple language, and google for each ccTLD domain like, google.co.uk / google.de etc.. for each one is using the odd on the parent language. Your competitor websites is for a long time registered on ODD and for that reason. bye

Geo Targeting for Similar Sites to Specific Countries in Google's Index
If your sites are registered in the webmaster tools on site settings and general settings. You can determine which region your site serves, in the destination country. Where the site is hosted is also a factor in rankings, I know it's a difficult decision, but also interfere. Another regional factor is where your site gets links, then concentrate the actions of the Australian site linkbuilding local sites in Australia. Hope this has helped.

Is it worth to have a DNS manage service like easydns or ultradns in terms of seo ?
Hi Paulo, I can't think of any way to objectively measure whether it would make a difference or not, however, just putting my mind to work on it, there is a small possibility that it could be included in a trust algorithm; spammers are unlikely to be paying the extra to use them. Anycast DNS may also mean your site has a better uptime rate when parts of the Internet go down or be very slightly faster but I don't think it's worth doing just from a SEO perspective.
