Move established site from .co.uk to .org - good or bad idea?
If you are going to make this site enormously popular then owning the .com will allow you stop the loss of type-in traffic to the .com domain. For popular .org .gov .net and other domain extensions, lots of visitors instinctively type .com as the domain. I do it often myself when attempting to visit some .gov and .org sites. I am usually surprised at what I find there. I know of a couple .com domains that get thousands of visitors per day because visitors don't type .gov as the extension.

Short Description, How Short?
There's no obligation ... meta description is used in SERP as a link description, so it's better to have good, engaging ant attracting description - it will increase conversion from natural search (CTR). So in the end it's worth to spend a while to create good, magnetic descriptions and in my opinion if you create such a text it can be used in both places. Remember to add a keyword to your meta description

CSS Hiding Text - Does this matter to search engine crawlers
Google can index and render both CSS and JavaScript, and has an uncanny ability to sort out bad intentions, so if you're trying to mask links with these, Google will (eventually) figure it out. Your developer's assumption is wrong. Google has come a long with with this, and can even index some AJAX content (when JavaScript loads additional content to a page from the server). Lots of navigation use accordions and other widgets that will display or hide navigation links depending on the page state. That's fine. Just don't go out of your way to hide links.

Duplicate content, Original source?
Hello: I believe what you might want to do is set up canonical content. This is where you have the same article with two different urls. The canonical content code will give Google the original source and not count it twice.

Product Reviews.
I have tried that also, but they never do. Even if they are satisfied, its kind of complicated

Importance of keyword in the content to rank well
I know what a 301 its, but I dont understand how you found that? Just a little background information we had a website called www.theprinterdepot.net and we wanted to move to .com when we moved we put a 301 redirect in the www.theprinterdepot.net to the .com I did that in the php.ini, its that the 301 you are talking about? should I remove it and replace the welcome page with a we have moved to or something?

Importance of keyword in the content to rank well
I suppose less competitive keywords would be the product specific keywords hp 1320 printer, or its variations.

Best way to redirect 3 sites to 1 new one.
I understand, I didn't actually mean redirect content as such but I realise I was a little unclear in my questions. So basically I should point all 3 domains to the new one then redirect-wise, is the below correct? redirect 301 http://www.oldsite.com/some-category/article/ http://www.newsite.com/category/article

301 redirect domain to page on another domain
I think it would have some effect. How big that is I don't know. I am sure a 301 to any page doesn't carry 100% of its worth to the new page. So I think that may be the case with each page. However, if your getting clicks to your new site from 4 domains and all those visitors in the one place. Then maybe it would have a positive effect on the site.

When is the last time Google crawled my site
Hi Adam, I would recommend adding your site to Google Webmaster Tools, this will give you under Diagnostics data about the Crawl statistics from Google. This will tell you: The number of pages crawled per day. Kilobytes downloaded per day. Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds) Which in the end will look like this provided with graphs.

Problem generating backlinks
I would give it more time to see if your links are going to be indexed and focus on building a 'natural' link profile. Building 100+ links in a short space of time with a new site can be dangerous if they are low quality/spammy. My advice is to slow down and focus on quality links from a range of sources.

Keyword Canabalisation and my solution
You mentioned wanting to appear for these variations: hp cp2025n cp2025n printer hp cp20205n printer or just cp2025n Why not add them into H2 tags within the same product page, so that you cover each? Just a suggestion. One H2 could be "Why the HP CP2025n?", another could be "HP CP2025n Printer Product Specs", etc.

Internal file extension canonicalization
As above example/abc rewrites to example/abc.html example/abc.html redirects to example/abc and all internal links link to example/abc

I have a ton of "duplicated content", "duplicated titles" in my website, solutions?
Usethe canonical, Dont use robots, when you block pages, link juice flows to those pages and is lost. you can use a meta tag no-index,follow, that way at least the links are still followed and return the link jucie. But use the canonical that is what its for. But the best thing, is not to have them, CMS sites often lead to a mess.
