Press Releases
They are both good if the content is good. Ive always used PrWeb and have been happy with it. I would call both companies and compare their distribution outlets, see which site delivers to more quality, or more niche related sites to your own.

How easy is it to set up an email newsletter
I would suggest start talking with your current customers and see if a newsletter is something that they would be interested in. Maybe do a blog post on it, promoting what will be in your newsletter or even use your social media channels. It all depends on the level of conversation you are currently having with your clients. Even LinkedIn offers you the opportunity to see people's emails if you wanna steal those. Also don't forget to use your email to engage customers, not just push your items. I recently saw an email that said in the header "first person to email me back with a reply to said question gets a $10 gift card", this will allow you to keep an idea of who is actually engaged with your email and reading it.

Will our two retail sites get hit with duplicate content?
Ive asked them to Canonicalize from the old site to the new site.... although... we have great rankings for some of the brands on the old site.

Google plus Rich snippets for guest posting on large websites
I think requiring all guest writers to have a G+ profile is going to be a growing trend, and it's absolutely worthwhile. Beneficial to a large corporation? I guess that depends on how it fits into their overall marketing strategy. If that strategy involves SEO, and having individuals representing the company doesn't turn them off, then it's a good thing. Regarding "write on behalf of somebody in the company and have there profile image" - I'm assuming you mean having someone ghostwrite the content for someone in the company? Most people won't admit it, but it's common practice to have copywriters write content for brand representatives. If the person being represented by the content is OK with it, I think that's all that really matters.

Blog for SEO
I link back to my site, to help tie together content matches that I think can help the user/reader. I keep in in check depending on the length of the blog piece, the intricacy of the topic (is it jargon heavy or really technical?) and work from there. Good content, to me, does match up to SEO because you're targeting what your user cares about and looking for. Using the same best practices makes sense. (You can have great content but if you didn't SEO it well, then how easy is it for people to find to know it's good?) Don't go overboard because it can seem spammy and be a reader turn off.

Questions about reorganizing a website's content structure
Splitting content off to separate domains is not a 100% no-no. I would only do it if the content is targeted to significantly different market or user segments, though.

Google RSS Feed News Feed To Inner Pages
Hi, "As you are working on an ecommerce site, it would probably be a better idea to have an internal feed relevant to you website and its latest additions like content and new products, discount. The internal feed icon and link may be placed at a visible location across all the webpages of your ecommerce website."

Do GoogleWacks still exist?
Haha, Good ol googlewhacking, it can be a lot of fun, but ofcourse you want to find one in the end ;). I've added a little clip of comedian Dave Gorman. He recorded (quite a few years ago) a live stand up after writing a book of his googlewhack adventures. His goal was to find 10 people who had found a googlewhack. I wouldn't know where you'd be able to find the full version of it. It definitely worth the watch :). More information about his googlewhack adventure on his site http://www.davegorman.com/projects_googlewhack_adventure.html Have fun and goodluck Googlewhacking and if anybody finds one be sure to misspell it when posting it anywhere :). Like bamboozel guzzler --> bam--b00zle guz---zl3r Let's see who can find the shortest long tail Googlewhack :D. watch?v=kTxB2SVH-7s&feature=relmfu

Is it possible for a website with only 20 pages to be ranked in top?
Sure, it's possible. Site size is generally not a ranking factor. Not directly, at least. As Jim points out, the larger site may be more useful to the user, which would attract more backlinks, etc. Bottom line: Focus on making your site the best. If that means adding more great content and making it bigger, great. If you can make it great without adding more pages, that's fine, too.

Promoting blog content
I would suggest that a Pinterest board isn't the best option to use as a blog. I would focus on strategies to promote your Pinterest board via Pinterest, and start a separate blog if you want a blog.
