What are the click-through rates by position for organic search on Google by industry?
I really don’t think there is any tool who is finding the avg. CTR for any keyword or industry at the moment but you can find it yourself manually as CTR is based on the formula which is something like this! CTR is the number of clicks that your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown (called impressions). If this is what you are looking for!

Why is the ideal rel canonical URL structure?
Agreed - the "canonical" shouldn't just be a tag - it should reflect the actual link structure of your site, or it's not going to be as effective. Adding the additional keywords to the URL could slightly boost the profile pages, but there's always some risk to making a massive change like that.
