Is there a minimum amount of words you need?
Hey, Kyu. I don't personally think those pages should hurt your site's ranking unless, of course, the content is found on another site. You could seed them and see how they rank, then add more decent content to them if they prove worthy.

Duplicated Pages and Forums
If you have lots of duplicate pages, you can get hit by Panda, which tends to be a site-wide penalty. However, I would look for ways to correct this rather than just ignore the pages as Google tells everyone not to duplicate content. Andy

404 for duplicate content?
I agree with Andy here. Too many 404's can hurt your site. EVEN Google says that in GWT. I wouldn't do any 404s. I would 301 or robot.txt folders. You may want to robots.txt some folders. Sometimes you can get a plugin and fix things quickly.

Does 301 Redirect solve many problems?
I think you should be fine, and Owen's comment below is excellent advice too. Following his suggestions may help prevent future problems too.

Doing SEO for site that publishes articles everyday?
No, you don't need to submit each one to the search engines but, as CMC-SD mentioned, if you plus one them on Google plus they will get indexed faster. I also agree with his advice on title tags and meta descriptions as well as the url title. Other things to do are to make sure that the content is grammatically correct and that your keywords don't show up too often. If a keyword appears as more than 4 or 5% of the text the search engines don't like it. Other than that, use your social media networks to get the links out there and keep up the good work!

How effective is Crawl DIagnostics in determining crawlibility?
Hi Kyu, Unfortunately, our crawler does not report if there are issues crawling your site due to JS or Flash, as it is actually unable to parse either of those languages so it does not process any information in those languages. Google's crawler is much more sophisticated than ours, as Host1 points out, so they may be able to parse your site and index it more thoroughly than we can. Please let me know if you have any other questions. -Chiaryn
