Hi, I edited the robots.txt file for my website http://debtfreefrombankruptcy.com yesterday to allow search engines to crawl my site. However, Google isn't recognizing the new file and is still saying that my sitemap is blocked from search. Here is a link to the file itself: http://www.debtfreefrombankruptcy.com/robots.txt The Blocked URLs tester said that the file allows Google to crawl the site, but in actuality it still isn't recognizing the new file. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Get rid of your second h1 tag.  A page should only have one. You are right, if your plugin is not picking it up then it's a problem with the plugin. I think it's a bit harsh to say that h1's have minimal impact.  If you were to have a page with just a h1 title then it's not going to do much, but it's all about context.  Does your url relate to your h1, does your h1 relate to the content on the page, do your subsequent h tags ( h2, h3, etc) relate to the surrounding text. It is true that h1 tags do not have as much weight as they once had, but just because Google et al have downgraded the importance a bit does not make h1 tags irrelevant. Aside from search engines, h1 tags are an important part of page structure for your users (the visitors that really count).  Don't forget about users with disabilities too.

And I can monetize by advertising further to the real fizzy dinks fans. 3. YouTube Hits, I bought 30,000 YT hits. All mobile views (some include likes, comments and subscriptions too) - These were the best! Every time my video goes viral after the initial 30k a couple months down the line I'd get up to 120K and 10K real visitors. and real sales resulting from this. 4. Organic Traffic. - Dont Buy Traffic, buy advertisement through social networks which generate trafic, there are a few out there that do that for you... anywhere from 50 per day to 8000per day. This got me a few sales, but not as much as the YouTube Likes Additionally: I ordered all the 10,000 baclikns, the 50billion edu and gov spun article placemnt, search engine submissions etc. for 1 site.   SERP for main keyword 1st place!!!  Page Rank 0 It looks like Blackhat killed my domain name, I dont see how I can make actually get a PR now as there is just so much junk on the net out there linking to my site that, the genuine links are ignored, although i get no warnings, and im blacklist free. So to summ up: Get 10,000 fake likes and ruin your LEGITIMATE status (aka you become spam) BUT You will have about 1,000 real, semi-interested fans.

Yes, that is a blog network, but i dount you will be penalized for a couple of blogs. But i would rethink the idea, if you think the sites can generate enouuth trafic and convert back your site and then sales then maby, but if you think this is going to give your site a boost in rabnkings then i would not bother. You would need to get links to your blogs to make them worthwhile, and those links could of been going to your main site. My suggestion is put the content you were going to put on these blogs on your own site and maybe you will gain trafic and links.

Hey Ben, Thanks. Am using a Wootheme called Simplicity. I have just left the minify box unchecked in W3 Total Cache since this was causing the problem. The site speed seems to be ok though even with this disabled.

Thanks to both of you for your responses! Quick question. I have just changed my post name after the page has been created since I want to have a different H1 tag but the permalink keeps the original post name. Does this cause any technical or SEO problems as far as you know? Thanks again
