We have double canonicals. From page A to page B to Page C. Will this be Okay for Google? Or definitely we need to make it A to C and B to C?

I just wonder how much the different formats of an actual content will bring more ranking improvement or visibility for an article or blog-post or landing page. If a topic has been created in video and slides, will that helps landing page at Google technically?

We have redesigned our website and launched for A/B testing using canonical tags from old website to new website pages, so there will be no duplicate content issues and new website will be shown to the half of the website visitors successfully to calculate the metrics. However I wonder how actually Google considers it? Which pages Google will crawl and index to consider for ranking? Please share your views on this for better optimisation.

Exactly as you said.

I wonder what ranking fluctuation or dip we can expect with main domain due to this deindexing of sub domains. Someone claims that ranking will be dropped, but how? Still sub-domain "B" will be there with all backlinks. So the backlinks are there technically.

Please let me know your valuable thoughts on this.

We are planning to de-index and redirect a sub domain A to sub domain B. Consequently we now need to d-index sub domain B also. What happens now to the link juice or page rank they gained from hundreds and thousands of backlinks? Will there be any ranking impact on main domain? Backlinks of these sub domains are not much relevant to main domain content.

Unfortunately the website you suggested is not working as required. It's still browsing from the same country (my country). Even though it shows the different Google domain (google.ca) while trying to browse Google Canada, the results are actually for the country I'm browsing from and same can be seen at the footer of the SERP.

We need to check our website/pages rankings for random keywords at random timings in different countries. Beside checking in search console, we would like to check in browser. But Google now is not allowing us to browse the results of other country. I would like to use best proxy service to browse Google from different location to check how our pages are ranking & fluctuating. Please suggest on this.

One of our sub-domains has thousands of indexed pages but traffic is very less and irrelevant. There are links between this sub-domain to other sub domains of ours. We are planning  to take this subdomain completely. What happens if so? Google responds for this with a ranking change?

As I mentioned some days back here, our duplicate website got indexed a month back. Unfortunately there are links to our original website. I noticed that thousands of links are from our duplicate website at "Links to Your Site". Will this hurts? Now we have blocked the duplicate website getting indexed. What to do to remove these links from "Who links the most"?

This has been a debate for years and I have noticed most of the SEOs suggest to go or switch to sub directories instead of sub domains. Still is this the same or any new updates from Google or SEO community? We have moved a sub domain to sub directory last year. The result was sub directory content started ranking good; but no change in website rankings. Because of moving sub domains to sub directories, will the linkjuice/PR of the website gets diluted as the number of pages increases which will takeaway soe authority?

We have employed different pages (topics) at same URLs for years. This has brought different backlinks to same page which has led to non relevancy of backlinks. Now we are planning to redirect some URLs which may improve or drop rankings of certain pages. If we roll back the redirects in case of ranking drop, will there be any negative impact from Google? Does Google notice anything about redirect changes beside just passing pagerank from backlinks?

Google crawls all the webpages and gathers content to index and ranking. Beside this general info, what are the all other possible technical details Google will be gathered about a website to rank or penalise or optimise the website in SERP? Like IP address, DNS server, etc.......Please share your knowledge and ideas on this.

Thanks for the answer. I don't think what you suggested is technically difficult to implement. We have thousands of redirects to be done. And anyway all these redirects will not be noticed by Google overnight or backlinks will be increased all of a sudden. The different source links which are generating these backlinks will get indexed at different times varying from days to months. So it'll take 1 day to 3 months to get notified by Google about the increase of these backlinks. But there will be risk if Google can see all the redirects at one shot which I am not sure about. This is my hypothesis. Please let me know if you have different ideas on this.

I think Google will understand these legitimate scenarios but cannot be guaranteed all the times.

We have more than 30 partners. We have given all of them "nofollow" from our website and they link back to us with followed links. Our DA is high and all of them have low DA. This is been happening for years where partners get deleted and new ones will add up. We never experienced any algo or manual penalties. If both pages have relative context in terms of content, the link must be legit.

Here is the additional info on our Wikipedia page which answers your questions and give more knowledge on similar scenarios:

Our Wikipedia page is pretty old. It was first created on 2005. Website link was pointing to our homepage. Suddenly this got deleted in this January due to lack of reliable resources and the page sounds little spammy and advertising. We didn't create this page. If so this couldn't survive for so long. So, back to the actual discussion, even the link from Wikipedia is technically a "nofollow", we can see the importance Google gives to this page to boost a website's ranking with a strong backlink.

We lost of our Wikipedia page for 2nd time and we dropped in rankings 2nd time too. I got confused first time whether Wikipedia was the actual reason as we had couple of major changes in our website. But recently it's been clear that losing Wikipedia page is the culprit as we have no website changes around these days. How many of you aware of this and experienced this? Please share your views. Just browsing through the articles like "SEO trends in 2108"....I can see everyone mention about increase in voice search and attributing same to the SEO at top. But there is very less information on how to optimise for voice search....May be, they don't know what SEOs have to do exactly with voice search. Basically the input method is going to change on search and else remains same. This must be leading to increase of long tail searches and more search snippets to give an instant voice answer. What else has to be optimised to favoured in voice search?

We can see the old pages/links of a website using web.archive.org. But we need to manually check all the cached versions to know those. Is there anyway to get all those links/pages?
