Ontolo vs Raven SEO Tools
Thanks for the discussion. I have been outsourcing data gathering and assigning it to a sub-user in Raven Tools. The user identifies relevance from a list I have gathered using Raven Tools by visiting their site- also applies to free directories and assigns links back to me when data is gathered so I can approach prospects via social media and send very personalized emails. It feels like a very comprehensive service atm. I like its feature that provides a list of 'multiple citations' of sites that link to competitors. Offers a lot of data without having to do a lot of data manipulation- saving time. I just wasn't getting enough highly relevant link prospects from Ontolo because I probably wasn't using it properly.

301 Redirect
This link: http://www.poker-brands.ca/download-pokertracker-software/holdemmanager is supposed to be forwarded to: http://www.poker-brands.ca/download-pt3-pokertracker-software/holdemmanager-hem-hm2 I used Cpanel on my hosting to create a 301. I didn't go into .htaccess. Is there code I should add to .htaccess when I do this? Much appreciated,

Can SEOmoz please make the default number of rows in the keyword difficulty tool to 5?
Hi Michael, Best to use the feature request form so that it can be formally ticketed - http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests You can also email help@seomoz.org for that "direct" approach. Hope this helps, Vahe

Would notifying visitors that they can put text link ads on your site destroy you in terms of Google?
There are better ways to make money from your site. Worst case outcome? Manual action by Google. Best case scenario? Algorithmic PageRank reduction where your toolbar PageRank goes down by 1/3. e.g. PR6 -> PR4 making it less appealing for link buyers. Indirectly by linking out to random sites can put you in a bad neighborhood and reduce your websites reputation and trust by search engines.

301 Redirect?
This doesn't really make sense because when you 301 those domains to your regular domain, you'll be passing on all link juice, and those domains won't appear in search results. You won't get a bonus just for redirecting good keyword domains, unless they have backlinks to them. Once the search engines crawl the page, and you redirect it, what's stopping the search engines from crawling the page again and picking up the redirect? This feels to me like it would be gaming the system. When your instincts tell you that, either it already doesn't work, or if it does, the search engines are working on ignoring it as a signal. I like Shane's way.
