How bad is a trailing slash?
Hi Tyler, This is a minor issue, but still an issue. You should be consistent in your sitemap file as on what you want google to index. There will be no penalty or whatever in an SEO perspective. What can suffer is crawling in your site due to: 1- GoogleBot has a "limited" time/resources for each site, wasting time in redirections may cause that part of your site not being crawled 2- If many redirections are held, GoogleBot might leave instead of having more time/resources for that crawl. There has been said that GoogleBot gives up in the 5th hop (video with matt cuts explaining it) Hope it helps. Best luck GR

Why isn't the Moz crawler getting all of my item pages?
Meghan from Moz pointed out I had Disallow: /*? in the robots.txt and that appears to have been the problem. It is the default Magento 2 setting, so not sure why they had that in there.

What would cause my structured data items to drop off?
Crawl stats are improving if anything. The last few weeks our pages crawled per day increased and our total indexed pages has steadily been increasing.

How do I customize Magento product urls?
I installed this extension- https://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/custom-product-urls-seo.html but could not figure out how to get it to work. In case anyone else runs across this here is what the developer sent me and it worked- "Second way to set url key using my extension is to tick products on product list in backend and use mass action "Set Custom URL". Then apply pattern to chosen products. Then again if you wish to chcek created url rewrites go to Catalog > Url Rewrites and see urls containing category names."

Can I use two sitemaps?
Hello, Yes you are able to upload multiple sitemaps to your Google Search Console. Often sites that have thousands of pages will create multiple sitemaps to make it both easier for them to manage and search engines to crawl. Just make sure to keep them separate, what I mean by this is have one sitemap dedicated to your blog and blog only, same with your Magento site. Don't cross-reference pages into both. Hope this helps. Chris Hickman Adficient.com
