Does Google look at Domain Registrar owner information when counting links into a site?
Google has trended towards devaluing links between domains with "Administrative Relationships." It's a good bet that they can figure out you own both domains. That said, it's only a devaluation. The links still count - just not as much. Think of it more like internal anchor text from your own site. Like Nakul said, since it's only one domain, you're not going to suffer a "link-wheel" scheme penalty or anything similar. It's natural and normal for sister sites to link to one another - even groups of sister sites. But the links likely won't help as much as external links form outside sites.

Using meta keywords for Comparison Shopping Sites - Buy.com, TheFind.com, Shopzilla
Well, you kind of have to weigh your options. The dangers of using meta keywords is that your competitors can read them and, and then they will know how to compete with you. You are basically giving away some of your proprietary information. Now having said that, there are still people who use meta keywords. Read this article. You basically just have to deiced if you getting your products placed on buy.com is going to make you enough money to be worth it. Sorry, I know I didn't give you a yes/no answer, but hopeful you have enough information to make an educated decision. -Bryant Jaquez

How do I get searchable image hosting in the cloud?
It used to be that you could embed images on your site from another site (like Picasa) and your site would show as the source. I don't know if this is the case. I would probably put them on my server anyways.

Is hosting videos on our other, searchable sites competing with our site-hosted videos?
Picking your channels is always important. My recommendation for on-site video is to publish the videos into your existing sitemap on the domain you want to rank for, and file a video sitemap with Google. Video results are often given priority over text results and so Google will feature your video content because many sites just don't have a video function and they see great results from clicks and so forth when it comes to video. Having a YouTube channel is also good, but it has to be a part of your strategy to keep it going. Do you want people to comment on YouTube or on your site? Do you want people searching to be able to find your site, or your YouTube page? You want to funnel the traffic where you want it to go, and of course on your own site you can control the Calls to Action and things of that nature. Here is an excellent SEOmoz blog from Kate Matsudaira that talks about creating a video strategy and some of the options and opportunities for success using video. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/creating-online-video-strategy Hope this helps!
