I like your idea of building a landing page specifically for the redirect. Didn't even think about that. I was just concerned that people following old links would be disappointed by landing on a product page or whatever. Totally makes perfect sense though. Thanks for the tip!

I stand corrected on that point. Thank you Jassy for sharing the link. I was not aware Google made that change.
