How to manage two websites that have the same locations on GMB?
Hello! Thank you for bringing your question to the community. Unfortunately, holiday rental properties are not eligible for Google My Business listings. You can read the guidelines regarding this here. They read: "Ineligible businesses The following businesses aren’t eligible for a business listing: Rental or for-sale properties such as vacation homes, model homes, or vacant apartments. Sales or leasing offices, however, are eligible for verification." So, while the office from which you rent out these properties is eligible for a GMB listing, the chalets are not. Please let me know if I've misunderstood anything about your business model or question.

What's the current best practice for URL structure?
Hi there, For Hotels, I would recommend: **name.com/hotel/luxury-rooms/ ** WRT to your enquiry about the location, for hotels, I would use : name.com/hotel/luxury-rooms/location If you have multiple locations, then use name.com/hotel/luxury-rooms/country/city or name.com/hotel/luxury-rooms/state/city For Cottages: name.com/cottage/cottage-name/country/city or name.com/cottage/cottage-name/state/city Create Google My Business profiles for each location.

Results After a Disavow File Submission
I gave a solid response here which is hugely likely to shed some light on your disavow predicament. Disavow work is a preventative measure, it is not work which you should 'expect' to raise rankings. If you didn't replace the disavowed (discredited) backlinks with decent ones, obviously you'll just go down and down

Pulling Month on Month rankings
No problem! If you scroll over to say the 8th or so Column you should see a Column titled 'Google en-GB SERP Date' (Or whatever Search Engine you are tracking). Here you will see the data we have collected week by week, month by month. I have attached a screenshot for clarification (from my own Campaign). https://www.screencast.com/t/Lx9tZa1WlGOj Let me know if you have any other questions! Eli

Rank English Terms in Swiss Google Google.ch
Thanks Thomas! So canonicals should be self-referencing, if I'm reading that image correctly.

Old site penalised, we moved: Shall we cut loose from the old site. It's curently 301 to new site.
Just to add to this, I'd look at the backlink profile and see the ratio of good to bad. If it's nothing but terrible links, I'd kill the 301 redirect. Though honestly at this point any damage that's done has probably already been done. Do you see any notice of penalty in WMT? If so definitely kill the 301. If not, and there are some good links, probably just move forward. If there are any pages with particularly good/bad ratios, you can do page-level redirects rather than domain-level redirects. If you have no reason to believe you're under penalty, it's probably best to simply move forward. Try to have the worst of the worst removed, build or re-build links to the .com, and work on getting legitimate links going forward. It's all very hard to say without looking at the site or the links, but hopefully this is helpful. Keep the disavow on the .com as long as spammy links are still more-or-less pointing (albeit through a 301) to your site.

My site shows 503 error to Google bot, but can see the site fine. Not indexing in Google. Help
Hello Lawrence, I think this is a question best asked of the Cloudflare support team, but don't be surprised if they blame it on your host. Here are some folks having similar issues. Let us know if you find something out that could help others in your situation in the future. Good luck!
