Google images hits distorting my results. What to do.
Why not take advantage of it? If you own copyright of the image, you could offer the image in return for a link to your site. Use Search by image to find out if people are using it without linking back already. If appropriate put some other great content on the page that contains the image that is likely to attract links, or see if you can monetise the page somehow. You're fortunate to rank on page 1 of Google Images, not unfortunate! Find a way to use it to your advantage.

Remove image URL from a google crawl
Hi James, There are two ways to do this; 1. In Webmaster tools, there is a link under the Optimization menu to remove a URL, 2. Or if you'rve got access to your robots.txt file, just add the following to the bottom: Disallow: /airport-cab/?show=gallery This will remove it from the Google index next time the file is crawled. If you are on Wordpress, and do not currently have an SEO plugin, try Yoast's, and use the Edit Files sub-menu to edit your robots file there.

Suggested Link Builder and Brief
Hi. I'm running out of ideas of ways to build DA apart from links to be honest. I undercut taxi firms (with masssive overheads) by supplying best price airport taxi runs out of kent. So my competition is generally local taxi firms with basic holding pages. heres' the site. http://cheap-airport-taxis.com/ I can't see any other way to increase my DA from 19 than to employ a link builder to go a get links. I would ask them to report on on the DA and PR of the links and record where the URLs are so I can check them. But with little value in hitting blog sites, directories now (as I understand they dont pass PR) what option do I have really? I cant get link aquistion from local government agencies ect as they prefer to promote the bricks and mortor style taxi firms. Don't see what options I have left to build DA to be honest. A link builder seems the next logical step as long as I can track where im getting links from. If you can tell me another 5 things I should do to build DA i'm all ears. I know link building is sneared upon but surley there is value there with what I can figure out - on page optimisatioin is woirth about 20% and the rest is basically linking...

Why if PR and DA are higher is this site lower in SERPS
This question is asked over and over again in the SEOmoz Q&A. "Wah! My DA is the best but my site isn't #1. WTF?" This question rarely gets a satisfying answer and when it is answered well the person who asked the question is usually not happy to hear the truth. This is one of the most widely used SEO tools on the internet and people don't know what it means. Since these same questions recur so often and with such passion SEOmoz should address it with a detailed article that is obviously posted where the people who use this tool will clearly find it. That will ensure that a good tool is used properly and so many people are not going around with their panties in a wad.

Opensite explorer not showing facebook/twitter other sites
A couple of questions for you: Do you link to your FB/Twitter pages anywhere? Have you got your FB page set to display the 'Info tab' first before people become a fan? Have you shared your FB/Twitter pages on the other platforms. It takes time for both GWT and OSE to track all links. The important thing is whether you're getting human visitors to your site from FB/Twitter, not whether they appear in a database

Does facebook pass pr
Facebook pages are "no-follow" meaning no juice is passed directly to the site. However, the different signals and navigation of the viewers has an indirect organic affect. If your traffic is increased with a "no-follow" then it is affecting your "organic results" indirectly. However, the page rank "juice" isn't transferred via page rank, but rather by sending traffic.
