Hey Adam, Thanks for your response.

Hey Friend, I am having sort of a problem.
I currently have a subpage with the url of:
/musclecars/
I also have a subpage at
/muscle-cars/muscle-car-restoration.html
Obviously my main url is not listed here. My problem is I am trying to rank for the term Muscle Cars but the first URL does not have the keywords seperated so I rank no where. If I type MuscleCars into google I rank though (but nobody types the keyword in like that).
So my question is can I create muscle-cars.mydomainname.com and rank well with that? Or is it better to just use mydomainname.com/muscle-cars/ even though that second term I am ranking for already has that in its url?
Oh really? Wow... Thats kind of a bummer. As to tapping out this niche the term we are after there are virtually no blogs created for it (we own about 10 of our own to kind of get the industry going).
No we have done all types of SEO including blog posts as you said but unfortunately we have already tapped out the top sources for our niche which is automotive restoration.
I doubt automobile insurance websites would really feature our content so the actual selection of closely related sites is about 50 good SITES not even blogs.
Ideas?
Hey Guys,
I am currently doing article marketing for one of my terms on my dads site (I will not publicly post the url).
We have been working to rank for this term for several years and are on the second page near the top, we want to be in the top 5 for the term and we are willing to spend any ammount of money it takes to learn this thing!
We were introduced to article marketing not to long ago so we have hired content writers to write articles on our niche and then we are manually (I MYSELF) am going into article sites and listing the articles with a link back to our site with the anchored keyword txt (1 link per article).
We have been doing 10 articles per keyword (there is several keywords we want to rank for) so we are spreading it out slowly building these article links.
Is this the correct process or are we missing something?
These are real UNIQUE articles only being put on 1 article site never being posted anywhere else.
I think the better thing to ask is why do you need non-related links?
There are tons of link opportunities for every niche for free one way links.
I would keep both, I wouldn't stop whats already working.
This is why I suggested the Google webmaster tools.
Bing has a similar tool aswell.
Normally I would agree Nick but he already stated the employees have left the company, leaving content about them on the site is not proper business.
Hey My Friend,
What the others are saying is true there is no easy way. But depending on the competition for the keywords your after it can be easier then some are stating. Just remember slow and steady wins the race.
Remove it and also update your sitemap to reflect the change. I know in Google webmaster tools it will allow you to block certain pages from now being crawled.
So long as you have content for a Facebook page its a great resource. I have seen people capture email leads from facebook pages and promote there services. It really depends what your after.
Ok, I understand the linking root domains but I have literally thousands of links to my MAIN domain. But I am also building links to my actual sub-pages so I can obtain better rankings for that term. What am I doing wrong?
A facebook page allows you to list your own content on the page. Facebook place allows you to actually mark down your location of business storefronts so people can check into it.
Thats the only difference.
Hey guys!
I am proud to be a new SEOMOZ Pro member!
I ran the report on my site and it says what I am primarily missing is domain linking....
What is this? it says I only have 3 of them for the specific term / subpage I am going after.
In addition what does Linking Root Domains mean in my report?
Thanks much!
