Articles / Balanced Profile
Google says they want a "natural" looking anchor text pattern as they don't want anyone buying links. Thus, you are correct in that they are penalizing you for having the same anchor text in your links. You need to focus on words that people would actually be searching for to find your site and like what they find. If I was running www.houserestoration.com and drove people via the anchor text "kittens," people would not like my site as it wasn't relevant to their needs/interests as they are looking for information about "house restoration," not "kittens." Likewise, even words closer to your category might not be the best. People searching for "house" can be looking for a lot of things, but I' d say given a Google search for "house" that more people looking for House (the TV show), Government branches, or Real Estate which have nothing to very little to do with "house restoration." You know what your customers are looking for. Use those words.

Unique Ip Hosting Question
Will there be any issues associated with moving them all to a reseller account with a single ip address? From a ranking perspective, the primary issue would be if the sites link to each other. Links to sites which share an IP are devalued since they are likely under the control of the same party. Search engines have numerous methods to relate sites beyond the IP so if you own a group of sites which link to each other, it is likely search engines may have already devalued any links you created to your other sites. Another concern of shared IPs is your "neighborhood". If you share an IP with porn sites, gambling sites, hacker sites, etc. it's possible some e-mail systems and companies have banned the IP on their networks which can restrict visitors from accessing your site or cause e-mail to be rejected. is there ever a possibility they will change our ips without notice or for any reason at all that will change and or fluctuate our rankings? Your web host owns the IPs assigned to your server so it is possible they could change the IP, but it is not normally done. If it does happen, an IP change should not have any effect on your rankings.

Page URL Issue
mydomainname.com/muscle-cars/ and mydomainname.com/muscle-cars/muscle-car-restoration.html are two completely separate urls. I wouldn't worry about that.

Article Marketing
Hey Keri, I tested article marketing a lot. Submitted over 200 HAND written articles (no dupes at all) to over 100 different directories. The rankings did not go up or down so I have stopped article marketing because it all seems to be in vain at this point. I wish it wasnt because I was literally hand writing these articles of 500+ words myself with 1 outgoing link on them to my site with the correct anchor text. Its really sad.

What is domain linking and linking root domains?
You may have 1000's of links pointing to your root domain, however, if you are trying to rank a sub-page for a specific term, you may want to find unique domains that can provide direct links to the target page (anchor and generic), thereby increasing your overall linking domain count for both your domain and sub-page
