Client needs a basic page analysis tool
I would then come up with a small SEO plan that does one report & charge them for it... Don't leave money on the table, charge them a flat rate per report & when they have a bigger budget they will hire you when you have kept in contact with them. Don't send clients away, today's small client might become tomorrow's large one.

Does the Moz Toolset offer anything like Raven's Backlink Explorer from fresh index
Hi Steven, You are correct in noting that SEOmoz does not have this functionality at this time. We are working actively on expanding the size and quality of our main index, which is published monthly, but I totally agree that it can be frustrating to wait to see new links when you are working on a new site. As Doug mentioned in his response, we are working toward a separate fresher index which works quite differently, but this is still a little ways out. We will be sure to share more about it as progress continues. Thanks for the question, and good luck with the new site! Adam

SERP Placement oddity
Works for me, perhaps the one is being penalized slightly for irrelevant links or something.

To Meta Keyword or Not To Meta Keyword, That Is The Question
Google has stated that meta keywords do not influence rankings. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/keywords-meta-tag-in-web-search/ You will get better results from your efforts by focusing on other factors that are known to directly influence rankings.

Optimizing for keywords question on dilution?
oh... I like this a lot better. The homepage is much more substantive. I hope that others who know the last "look" will say what they think. Here are a couple other things to consider..... Your "Get connected" area is really big... that could be reduced to a sleek set of buttons. If you make them very sleek you can place them on ever page of the site - perhaps in the same location - top of right column?. In my opinion people will be more likely to share a property than they will be to share your site. So I would want the share buttons on the property listings page. I don't know your revenue model. However, the way that you make money would determine if the property listings are on the right or on the left.... and how I place listing links on other pages of the site. If you are being paid for leads then you want to place them where they will get maximum use. Your paragraphs... "Whether you're looking for.... ".... Honestly.... I would either CHOP that severely. That is something that most people will never read, yet it will push down links that lead to sales every time someone visits a site. If those links are making money I would bring them up. Can you get listings on pages such as "Keowee Key"?... That might get sales. Finally... are you using CrazyEgg.... you can place it on your site and see how people use your links. Nice site. Keep up the good work.

Seomoz research tools question for inbound links
Open Site Explorer is the tool you are looking for. Generally, you want to seek out links from websites/pages that are relevant to your niche and have a strong Domain/Page Authority, which is a reflection of the strength and diversity of their inbound link profile. The more authoritative the page or domain, the stronger the link. As for determining if a website is low quality (beyond SEOmoz authority metrics), you can use Open Site Explorer dive into the target website's backlinks. You should also obviously view the website and see if it passes a quick human review - is the website well organized, filled with high quality content, and well designed? If a website's strongest links appear spammy or their on-site tactics appear to be anything less than clean, you might want to consider moving on to the next opportunity. In general, though, don't fret too much about making sure that each and every link opportunity presented to you is 100% clean. It is highly, highly unlikely that your website will ever be negatively impacted by an external link; even the most manipulative link tactics are usually just ignored by Google. Focus on keeping your on-site tactics clean and making sure that any external links ON your website are to good neighborhoods. Moreover, focus on building links with websites that have strong followings or large communities around them - don't forget, referral traffic can be every bit as powerful as organic search traffic. The Official Google Webmaster Blog published a great post last year about getting quality links to your site. It may be worth the read.

Wordpress categories tags and robots.txt
Not that you would want to change plug-ins, but the Yoast SEO Plugin for Wordpress allows each category and/or tag to have its own custom title and description.

Seeking feedback from the community here on a new project of mine
Thanks for the feedback, I edited the url out. That said, the site offers a link exchange where it seems they link to everything under the sun and visa versa. The content itself seems very thin and yet google has them showing #2 or so in the serps. As for the inbound links, some are relavent, but many not. Why wouldn't google see through something like this. As an aside EGOL, I have ready many of your responses to others post and I appreciate your level of knowledge on such things and thanks for the feedback. I want to compete, but I want to do it the "right way" or "honest way" if there is such a thing. Steven
