Hi Rich, JavaScript links are an issue! There is a seriousvrisk that this link will never be counted the way it stands. They may be linking out that way in an effort to sculpt their own PageRank, preserving it for themselves instead of their members. I would be irritated by this if I were you.

"Does Google update often?" Google unrolls minor algo updates roughly every two weeks. "Is a jump from a PR of 0 to 3 reasonable?" Since PR is only one value in the overall ranking algo, the answer to this question depends on how strong your other signals of authority and relevance are in comparison to those competing for the same keywords.
