Link Building Techniques: Guest Blogging - Is it Okay or Not?
I wrote this guest post for Bluehost: http://www.bluehost.com/blog/educational/websites/the-ultimate-guide-to-supercharging-your-wordpress-blog-2097 As I'm in the process of building a link list for a disavow request, I'd like to get your opinion whether this guest post can harm my website?

Your Comments on my Website Please
What do you think about the new homepage layout? I know I still have a lot of work to do, I'm still working on the About and Disclosure pages, the old ones are still there in the meantime.

How About Moving My Site to Another Domain?
I submitted a reconsideration request but it was denied. I'm still trying to find out where those bad links are cause I did a hell of a job at cleaning bad links and disavowing those I couldn't get removed. I must have missed a handful of links and I'm trying to find them but in the meantime, the website is still penalized. Basically, I have strong doubt that any small website ever recovers from a Penguin penalty so I'm wondering if I'm wasting my money by maintaining this site.

What is the Best Tool to Identify Toxic Links?
Hi, I'm not referring to the type of data, but whether or not you have a complete view of your backlink profile. If you check the quite lengthy answer I left on your other thread you should see what I mean Sha

My Reconsideration Request Was Denied, Now What?
Interesting - hadn't heard that re: G-docs. Makes some sense. I only balked because I've seen plenty of people provide links directly in the request in the past and ultimately be successful. I can see where it could turn into a headache for Google. I would be surprised if they refused a request solely on that, but you never know.

My website keeps getting hit every other month. What should I do?
What I mean is that these pages rank in pages 2 and 3 for their main keyword without backlinks.

Getting Links Removed From ArticlesFactory.com?
Still not sure about that. I did this with one of my websites I didn't care much about and it went to hell after that.

Huge difference in search results depending on the country?
Well I do hope this is the case because I'm outranked by really sh*tty websites. Lots of them are 2-3 pages websites hosted for free on webs.com. Some of these pages have been taken down by webs.com yet they are still ranking in the top 10 after 2-3 months.

Google Panda Update question
Despite Google's best efforts, there are still a lot of spammy tactics that work and spammy sites that rank. However, in general, black hat tactics do not work for long, as Google's algorithm catches up with them. If you were hit by Panda, your best bet is to clean up your thin content and work on getting high authority links. Solid links from high authority sites will outrank spam links in the long run.

Duplicate Content - Delete it or NoIndex?
All the duplicated content is news posts so they lose value quickly. The only reason to keep it is volume since there's over 300 duplicated posts (about 25% of my overall content). Lots of them have partially copied content from press releases.

Local vs Global Search Results Yield Very Different Rankings Lately
Have you looked at the hosting country of all websites concerned? I have a .co.uk site that appears in .ca even though it's very directly targeting the UK but is hosted on a dedicated server in Canada. The other thing to consider is that possibly these sites outranking you in google.ca are targeting .ca in their Webmaster tools, even if it's hard to tell who'd they be targeting based on the sites themselves.

What About Google Panda Update 22?
Hi, I'm looking into a similar fall experienced across several of our sites since Nov 21. From what I can gather, Panda is all about 'quality quality' and some of the signals used to indicate 'quality' are bouncerate, time on site, browse rate, CTR from search, rather than whether the content is well written. I've identified that some of our pages have high bounce rates and maybe that is part of the reason we have seemingly been hit. Perhaps reducing bounce rates, improving on site clicks, improving browse rates etc will allow your site to bounce back. Personally, I'm still scratching my head wondering whether Panda really is to blame for our fall but improving 'quality' and the user experience certainly has to be one of our main goals.

Yes--but as the old saying goes--the "King" can't do no wrong.

Why Does Google Keep Changing My Page Titles?
I changed my page title so it has less than 60 chars: now Google is showing MY page title, not theirs.

How Much Should I Worry About NOFOLLOW Links?
If you haven't been hit by any ranking drops in the last several weeks, I wouldn't be worried about this at all -- nofollow or not.

Penalized by SEO Link Wheelers Backlinks
If your homepage is not penalized an idea that could help you out would be change the urls of the penalized pages and start over on trying to put quality content on those pages, and getting natural quality links to them. Do not run any redirects from the old pages as those will carry your penalty with you. If your homepage is no longer appearing, you could try to clean up as many of the links as you can. It will be time consuming process but can work. I would only follow a re-consideration notice after trying to clean up all the poor quality links first. Best of luck and stay away from using low quality spammers!

Website Hit by Penguin Update Rising Back From The Dead?
I think you could be right. I've seen a lot of people saying their SERPS are moving (either up or down) and of course everybody starts to wonder if something is happening Penguin wise. But as the day moves on, I'm seeing more Panda related issues in the forum than Penguin.

Is it a good idea to cross-link my websites?
Ahh I see read this prior to my morning coffee... Yes you are correct, don't know why I was thinking that the sites where going to be migrated... However, if 3 pages are on the 2nd page of Google for one keyword, doing a 301 redirect from 2 of the 3 pages to 1 page should help win.
