Article rewrite tools: do they really do the job to meet google's requirements?
The topics have been extensively covered on the net. Gathering some content from the internet and rewriting the content would make sense. This is what a research analyst would do in a brick and mortar world to write articles.

Looking for a better dashboard than Google adwords. Please help!
Thank you for your answer. Still seems that Google Adwords don't make it easy. Tried Woopra in the past. Trying GetClicky.com now. As per conversion, there is no in depth analysis on a per click basis in a dashboard format for google adwords. Will try the dimension tab.

What are the good strategies using satellite sites in SEO??
Doing it this way is indeed pointless. But if you adjust the strategy a little, it can work very well. What do I mean? Instead of satellite sites (new domains with no link history, no trust or authority), create satellite pages on established authority domains (Web 2.0 sites, blog platforms, etc, youi know the ones I mean). It's all about the domains (domain authority, links from domains are more important than page metrics). And don't just stop at one page. Publish multiple pages/articles on those authority sites. Of course, you must also build links to your satellite pages

Shelflife of a blog post SEO wise?
I agree with John and Steven. We manage a number of sports blogs, and I have my content writers link back to old posts using new posts. If there is a legitimate reason to link to the old post then go for it. For a local music blog, I frequently write content that has no expiration date. For example, I may post all summer about bands coming to town, or write reviews, but every few posts I might write a “top five music clubs in town” post. Those posts are relevant to my blog, they can be linked back to at a later date, and have the chance of picking up traffic at any time (depending on the search.) Analytics will also tell you which posts are getting traffic, no matter how old the post may be. That should give you a clue to what stays relevant.

Hunting for organic keywords: WordPress vs CodeIgniter
I would definitely use Wordpress for a blog. And I agree with EGOL, keep the content in a folder.
