What do you think about my new site?
Hi Mike, Well, the site is in Italian, and about Football (which I don't really follow as a sport) so can't really read what is there, but there are two points that I would make. The first, I had only been there 5 seconds, and then I lose the page to a huge mid-window popup. I hate these. The second is that you need to create a Favicon. You can do that here: http://www.favicon.co.uk/ -Andy

How to Delete the slug /category/ from wordpress category pages
Hi, What David mentioned in his response is the best way to remove the /category/ from the URL. However, based on your comment, you can't remove the /category/ because it conflicts with the page URLs which kind of contradict your initial question. I would suggest reworking on the page URL and the category URL. If you use 301 redirect to redirect the old URL to the new URL, everything should be fine once Google crawls your site again and see the redirect.

OMCP Certificartion
I have graduated from PPC Master Certification course taught by Brad Geddes. It was a tough 3 months, but it was worth it. The course is very practical and you go through every step of planning and creating ppc campaigns. The certification is well-respected in the industry. I do recommend the PPC Master Certification course.

Niche sites: how to optimize them?
I do however agree with what Ryan wrote - in that domains with keywords (unless a valid part of a brand) is not a worthwhile focus. Google particularly likes brands, so build a reputation based on quality content in your niches and you should be okay. There's no harm in building a good niche sites, i.e. filling a gap the main competition aren't in, but do it genuinely and do it well - remember you're building a quality site and everything affects your reputation - oh and finally, remember there are no short cuts

Status Code: 404 Errors. How to fix them.
Why not 301 the 404s to similar pages? Fix your problem AND transfer some of the link juice.

PR dropped from 3 to 0\. Why?
My friend, I've forwarded your answer to the person who redesigned the site. I hope she'll solve the problem. I wish I could do it myself, but I just do not know what to do. How do I remove that horrible "noindex meta tag" from the homepage? Thank you and all the best. Sal

Duplicate content: is it possible to write a page, delete it and use it for a different site?
Hi, Please forgive my ignorance: in the case you have illustrated, I will not have to delete the old page, right? I simply have to copy a page from the old site, add a 301 redirect, and then paste the page in the new site? Please confirm this. Thank you.

Optimizing the HomePage of a WordPress blog
Hi Sal, One way that works is to create a sticky post which always stays at the top. So it will be the first paragraph or so of text on the page. You can have your keywords in it, and it can be used to convey the most important message to your visitors. Most important is the content in my opinion. Cheers, Peter Mead

How to find the number of DoFollow links on the homepage
Hi Journeyman, Thank you for the reply. One question I'd like to ask: is it bad to exchange links? The fact is that I have been offered a decent amount to show three links on my homepage. It's the only three links I am selling. I know that Google is against the sale of links, but do you think that only external three links on the homepage will signal Google that I have sold links? Thank you and have a fantastic day.
