Just to confirm: I need to remove hreflang on site pages that have a canonical to another page (and/or other website)? Thanks for taking time to answer.

Only for the pages (English & Spanish) on my site.

I understand. I was asking about the situation where the canonical points to a page not on my website.

Is it good practice to use hreflang on pages that have canonicals?
I have a page in English that has both English & Spanish translations on it. It is pulled in from a page generated on another site and I am not able to adjust the CSS to display only one language.
Until I can fix this, I have made the English page the canonical for both. Do I still want to use hreflang for English & Spanish pages?
What if I do not have a Spanish page at all. I assume (from what I've read) I should not have an hreflang on the English page. Is this correct?
Thank you in advance.

Product schema GSC Error 'offers, review, or aggregateRating should be specified'
I do not have a sku, global identifier, rating or offer for my product. Nonetheless it is my product. The price is variable (as it's insurance) so it would be inappropriate to provide a high or low price. Therefore, these items were not included in my product schema. SD Testing tool showed 2 warnings, for missing sku and global identifier.
Google Search Console gave me an error today that said: 'offers, review, or aggregateRating should be specified'
I don't want to be dishonest in supplying any of these, but I also don't want to have my page deprecated in the search results. BUT I DO want my item to show up as a product. Should I forget the product schema? Advice/suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Should I use LocalBusiness schema on my home page or Contact Us page?
I am using JSON LD.
Any thoughts on where to use Organization schema?
On Product schema I am adding Brand with URL & logo. Is that overkill? What if I don't have a SKU or global identifier? (I am getting warnings for these on the SD tester.)
Also I have English & Spanish pages. Does the schema go on both? The main thing that would change is URL, name.
Thanks for your input.

Should I use LocalBusiness schema on my home page or Contact Us page?
I know I should only use Organization schema on one page of my site, but I'm not sure if I should use it on the Home page or use LocalBusiness schema on the home page. I was thinking of adding LocalBusiness schema to home page, Organization schema to About Us page and Corporate Contact Schema to Contact us page. Thoughts? Is there a best practice? I can't seem to find much information on what's best to use where.

RE: How will changing the phone number on my website affect SEO?
It looks like this issue has been resolved within my company. The phone number did not change for citations, header, footer. It did however change within the content, which I know is inconsistent and not the best, but I have no control over. Thanks for the input.

RE: How will changing the phone number on my website affect SEO?
The phone number on the header of the website would change to the vanity # without the vanity (just use #'s). Throughout the site content it would change to vanity. But it would go from 888 to 855, which is not good for toll free according to one of the articles you posted.

Any recommendations on a Content Marketing Firm?
I have used several and had some good results. Am wondering if I can find one that is more cost effective than who I am using now, as they just doubled their prices.

How will changing the phone number on my website affect SEO?
We are considering changing the phone number to our website to one of those 1-800-eat-cows. How will changing a phone number we've had 10 years affect our SEO. Do we need to change all citations, Google maps, etc etc? What if we don't? Thanks!

RE: Robots.txt & meta noindex--site still shows up on Google Search
I did read that about the robots.txt and that is why I added the noindex.
I use SEO Yoast for sitemap.xml, so shouldn't all my pages be there? I believe they are because I just looked at it a couple days ago.
So are you saying I should look through my backlink profile (WMT) and try to remove any backlinks?
Would 'Fetch as Google' not ping Google to tell them to recrawl?
Thanks for your help.

Robots.txt & meta noindex--site still shows up on Google Search
I have set up my robots.txt like this:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /and I have this meta tag in my on a Wordpress site, set up with SEO Yoast
name="robots" content="noindex,follow"/>
I did "Fetch as Google" on my Google Search Console
My website is still showing up in the search results and it says this:
"A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt"
This site has not shown up for years and now it is ranking above my site that I want to rank for this keyword. How do I get Google to ignore this site? This seems really weird and I'm confused how a site with little content, that has not been updated for years can rank higher than a site that is constantly updated and improved.

Wow! Thanks for the info! I have just been doing the Usertesting myself at varying locations until I find a good replacement or supplement.

RE: Will GA Autotrack affect affiliate sites not using autotrack?
Thanks for your answer. Some of our clients are some of the biggest insurers in the US. It still won't affect them?

Will GA Autotrack affect affiliate sites not using autotrack?
I want to add autotrack.js to affiliate quote forms hosted on my site. However, I do not know how it will affect affiliate websites (not associated with my quote forms, but with the same Google Analytics code, that do not use autotrack.
I read that "Autotrack is not an official Google Analytics product and does not qualify for GA Premium".
Will it harm my affiliates in any way to have autotrack on their quote form but not on their websites? It will have their GA website tracking number.

Do you get dinged for Duplicate video content?
If a vendor who creates your video posts it on their Vimeo account and I post it on my YouTube account will Google count that as duplicate content?

RE: Is there another option for User Testing besides Usertesting.com
Thanks, I have done some thorough investigation into UserTesting.com. You can also get a free test once/month (through peek.com). The difference between the $49/$99 option and pro price is the length of the video, the ability to specify the audience, the ability to tell the user what they are trying to do, even have the tester first look you up on Google and see who they are drawn to, and several other options. So yes, I can do the less expensive option, but I'm not really getting any more than going to a coffee shop and having people do the testing (which I can do for way cheap).
