ExpressUpdate.com Down, any other options for updating NAP
If you refer to NAP for a name, address, and phone, well there is a lot of options some of them are mandatory. Google my Business and Bing are the standard. Then depending on your niche, location and the services or product you are offering there are several options like Yelp or Angie's List here is a list very useful 50 Online Local Business Directories. There's a hundred of tool to manage your local visibility, for me, the best is Moz Local.

Does an subdomain hosted offsite provide SEO value
Thanks Michael for the response. The primary reasoning we were thinking of using the subdomain is technical in that the applicant processing software only allows us to use a subdomain to display our job. They effectively host the job board on their servers and we setup a cname (jobs.ourcompany.com points to ourcompany.jobapplicantsoftware.com). With the content hosted there is sounds like they get the credit or does our subdomain? My other idea is setting up a canonical tag for the pages hosted on jobs.ourcompany.com to point to ourcompany.com/jobs. I could create two copies of the same content so the users wouldn't know the difference. Wonder if that would work?

SEOMOZ stopped counting local results as a rank?
We've been having the same issue (it impacts on client evaluation and reporting significantly), and I just found a blog post written by SEO staff about a week ago: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/hot-off-the-press-more-universal-results-included-with-your-campaign-rankings He mentions the change, and says that they are considering giving more options in the interface by which to view your results (i.e. by absolute organic position, not just "natural with universal excluded".) I would visit the post, comment, and also follow the link to the feature request page for this and vote it up - maybe that'll help the change get made - and sooner. https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/21226961-show-the-top-universal-ranking-position-and-top-overall-ranking-position-as-well-as-top-natural-rank?page=1 Good luck! -Aviva

Using a more relevant brand title for blog
I think the real question is, what do you want to be relevant for? If you want the relevance for your brand name, then use that as the first two words. Most people don't, because their brand name is unique enough, and there generally isn't competition for it (though there's some interesting results for you in regards to 'two brothers moving' versus '2 brothers moving'). In your case, assuming 'two brothers' isn't someone you're interested in competing with, I'd use keyword | brandname as webfeatseo suggests. I would suggest that for both the blog and the main site, because it looks like you have the '2 brothers moving' and '2 brothers portland' searches essentially sewn up already.
