How come I cannot ask one question a month to the pro's ?
Kane, Pro members have unlimited questions in public Q&A, and one private Q&A question a month. That private question is not indexed and not viewable to anyone other than SEOmoz staff and associates, who are under NDAs. We have a known issue we're working on right now where occasionally people are not able to ask a question. Stephen is right that emailing the help desk is the best way to fix this and get the question credit. Marc, if your question is about the increase in errors on your campaign, that sounds like a help desk question anyway and not one where you need to use a private question credit (though I'd still ask for it in your email to help). The crawler did change how it's detecting some things, so it may just be that the change is the reason you are seeing more errors. Keri

How can I rank couple of pages to a specific geography ?
Actually you do not necessarily need to redirect. Hiring a new domain, hosting in the target country, giving the distribution meta is the most you can do. If you purchase a .fr or a .co.uk domain and you completely redirect it to the .com than it is pointless in my opinion as french content will never show up on the .fr domain and so with the .co.uk one. I am optimising for Hungary, when my keywords are not available with a .hu tld I often use .com or .info. I do not host my sites in Hungary. The language of the content and the links from Hungarian pages are enough but do note that we do not have a solid culture on internet, so reaching a position in the UK or France may be much harder. Maybe if you have a site with a lot of backlins simply having a separate folder for the french content is enough. I can not help you to decide whether to put a .fr to the end of the url, or to use a different sub like fr.site.com. Wikipedia uses the second so I prefer that maybe they are doing something right.

My ranking on some keywords is getting better . Now what about geography!
If you have offices in each country, make sure you have the contact details on the site, and add them to Google Places if appropriate. Build links from each of your targeted countries. Is it possible to add the fr (for French) language meta tag to the translated content? Obviously UK English and American English vary too, so your site content will tell Google etc. it's for a US audience, but such sites can rank well worldwide There are a couple of older posts worth reading here: http://www.seomoz.org/q/targetting-multiple-countries http://www.seomoz.org/q/multilingual-site-separate-domain-or-all-under-the-same-umbrella http://www.seomoz.org/q/targeting-specific-geographic-areas-use-1-large-com-or-several-smaller-country-specific-tlds

Not sure to see the real value of SeoMoz!
Hi Marc, Great answer from Ross! What you need to do is be very strategic and learn to pick your battles so you have a better chance of winning I believe the best way to do this is to stick with SEOmoz and soak up all the knowledge you can from the Blog, Webinars, Whiteboard Friday videos and of course, make use of Q&A. Also, use the SERPs Analysis Tool to generate advanced reports for your "money" keyword terms and see if there are easy wins in on-page and/or social media that you may not have thought of. Rand gave a detailed explanation of the tool and how you can use it to compare metrics for the top 10 sites returned for your chosen keyword term. There is also a link to the tool at the beginning of the post. Hope that helps, Sha
