Rank Checker Tool
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us! That is interesting indeed. I went ahead and started a ticket on our end about this, from there if you could provide some specific examples which I can then do some digging for you Generally with rankings, depending on the keywords you search for you could have fluctuations based on the push and pull of the sea that is the internet out there. While I don't have a specific answer for this question about this question, I can say that our keyword difficulty tools is a great way to look at volatility of certain keyword/phases. You can find more information here: http://www.seomoz.org/help/keyword-analysis, Thanks again for reaching out, I hope to speak to you soon Best, Peter SEOmoz Help Team.

Branded keywords
Howdy, If your branded rule is "dc widgets", then yes - the phrases "maker dc widgets" and "toy dc widgets" will both be considered branded keywords. Branded keywords are important for many different reasons. As opposed to non-branded traffic, branded keywords are an indication of true business visibility. If folks are searching specifically for your business, this is a good indication of health as opposed to random keyword searches. Here's an excerpt from a post we published when SEOmoz introduced branded rules into the web app: Keywords related to your brand tend to show up at the end of the conversion funnel, when visitors are already aware and interested. They’re more specific and unique, often based on company and domain names, key products, and variations/misspellings of those names and products. They aren’t subject to the fluctuations caused by search algorithms in the same way that non-branded keywords are. This makes them useful as indicators of long-term strength and popularity. For that reason, most sites should see a decent portion of traffic coming from brand-related keywords. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/introducing-branded-keyword-rules-and-metrics For better or worse, Google loves brands. The more branded traffic you receive the easier it is to succeed in other areas... typically.

Campaign. Only 1 page is crawled
Hi! It looks like Roger is getting stuck on the 301 redirects you have set up for your campaigns. The best way to get this resolved is to archive the existing campaigns and create new ones with the updated domain. For example, if seomoz.org is redirecting to www.seomoz.org, the campaign should be set up with the subdomain (www.seomoz.org). You can archive your existing campaigns in case you ever need to reactivate them. Hopefully this helps. Thanks! Best, Sam Moz Helpster

Rel Author
The Rel Author tag is used to link content created by an individual (on a blog, for instance) to the author's personal G+ profile. Andy is correct, the author needs to specify in their G+ profile that they area contributor to the site (thereby linking back to the site where their content is) to complete the author verification process. You should not use Rel Author in conjunction with Google Places. Hope this helps!

Do inbound links pass onto new domain if redirected?
Matt Cutts just said a week or two ago that 301s pass full PR and none is lost, not sure if that's true http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Filv4pP-1nw

How to determine which pages are not indexed
Hi, I know this is an old question but I wanted to ask about the first paragraph of your answer: "You can start by trying the "site:domain.com" search. This won't show you all the pages which are indexed, but it can help you determine which ones aren't indexed." Do you happen to know why doing a site:domain.com search doesn't show all the indexed pages? I've just discovered this for our website. Down the site: command shows 73 pages but checking through the list, there are lots of pages not included. However if I do the site:domain.com/page.html command for those individual pages, they do come up in the search results page. I don't understand why though?
