Drip Revolution
Yup - I asked John Mueller from Google about this and want to know what his reply was? Me: "Can I just ask if Google have these sorts of bot-user services on their radar?" John: "Yes, we have abuse teams working on those kinds of elements too." Andy

Geolocate or not?
Hi Bilal, Google will use hreflang to help determine which pages will show and where. Geo-targeting isn't much use to you in this instance, as you can only geo-target, not language target - so you'd be determining a physicial location (i.e. a country) rather than particular language speakers. I've never been particularly confident of the geo-targeting option in Google webmaster tools in any case - it didn't seem to make much of a difference to the sites I saw it implemented on. Hope this helps Hannah

Change of domain name?
I wonder about your current ranking, page rank and domain age because that will be a big component in dictating what you might do. Recently I began working on targeting specific geographic regions for a site. We are working on off page techniques to rank and then geo-targeting back to the site. There are different techniques you might consider for targeting other regions outside of the UK but I'd be interested in seeing what some veterans have to say.

On page optimisation reports
I would - optimise your chosen page for the keyword you wish it to rank for. Check this page manually against you chosen keyword and fix any problems etc. Once you've done this your on-page grade isn't going to change. Once you've got the page sorted think about your site architecture and internal site links. Then you can start looking at the off-site stuff like link building etc. What the on-page report is great for, is finding pages that are ranking (but not as high as they might) for particular keywords. Some simple on-page optimisation and you can gain a ranking position or two. Can make quite a difference if you get a page up a couple of positions onto page 1 or into the top 3.
