For sure, I just tested this by also resubmitting some of our sitemaps. This proved to me that it could take some time for GWT to refresh the data. As I submitted 25 pages but it says it index 76 of them ;-). Mostly I give it a day 1/2 to see if the results differ. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks @Federico Einhorn and @Marcus Miller I am already aware of these things. But you can find other articles those have huge contradictions. I know it will give much befits. But still I wanted to strengthen my point. Thanks a lot
