Are  there any good reasons to close a discussion to new comments?

comments going off topic, a topic that can be split into several threads instead of one, low quality comments, hard to find information (poor ux). But overall, I think it would be great to just keep updating a strong thread. Keep building the authority + hit more long tail kws + QDF bump.

I think this would be more of a UX issue as "paginated" pages are treated as part of a series.

Depends on if they have lots of high quality, unique, keyword optimized images that can drive traffic through image search.

There are lots of image sitemap generators available as well (free for smaller sites, not sure about larger sites). I like to use ScreamingFrog (paid) for large websites.

Your website has a spam score of 5 therefor any links coming from your website will have a spam score of 5. There are several links above that red box that also come from your website and have a spam score of 5.

In order to reduce your spam score, you will have to remove backlinks from the sites that Moz says are spammy and/or build more links from high authority websites.

1. Yes, use 301 instead of 302. 301 would pass any authority (i.e. any backlinks) that the vanity URL gains to the actual page whereas a 302 doesn't.

2. Add a canonical URL to www.clientdomain.com/xyzpage so that search engines only index 1 version of the page

I've removed many manual penalties by submitting only a disavow file. Google can't really track which links were removed by you or naturally so they can't consider that when deciding on your reconsideration request.

use #2 if search engines can see the content that would be on the other pages. if they can't see it, then use rel=next/prev

If the paginated pages still exist (and can be indexed) but you want to load more products dynamically, without changing the URL, using rel=next/prev would work fine.

I think this is a problem. Google should have both Spanish and English versions crawled and indexed, and then you redirect to their new respective versions.

I'd say redirect english -> english, spanish -> spanish and work to resolve the larger issue.

If it is a trusted website that is relevant to your industry and would be helpful to your visitors, yes. There is still a benefit to reciprocal linking - as long as you don't go wild with it.

Google will recrawl the page much quicker and is more likely to update it's index based on any changes you made to the page (or index it for the first time).

As Ria said, there is no downside.

In theory, no. an ecommence store can have  en-us and en-uk as hreflangs, which would have the same content but different currency - totally acceptable.

Sounds like you are in the same scenario.

Create new ones then report the old ones as "moved location/no longer in business" (whichever option is available)

then wait and hope things get slowly updated

you cannot noindex only portions of content on a page.

your best bet is to iframe it and noindex the iframe source

yup, they've been doing that to our clients for a few months now.. very annoying. they even did it for CLIENT who wasn't spending that much. for another client, they called with same thing. for many others, when I login to their accounts, i've noticed the alert at the top right saying "you have been selected for agency support, please click here to schedule a call". I mentioned it to our rep and they said the google agency support team that might contact clients isn't to replace us blah blah blah. shitty practice from google.

I would say this is black hat (totally illegitimate backlink) and might even confuse Google as to your actual business location.

If you want to rank better in the US, I would create a en-us hreflang version of the page & get backlinks from US based websites

Could go both ways. If the questions are relevant and well written, it should improve your SEO (and more importantly, conversions). You can search for "ugc seo" to see many analysis and perspectives on the topic.

Is it worth the price? Depends on how much you are paying and the ROI you get from it. I could see this paying off on an ecommerce site.
