Having trouble getting listed on Google News
Its' entirely possible that Google doesn't consider the posts newsworthy. Just having the technical markup for News doesn't mean it will be considered such by the search engine. Paul

Should I noindex?
Thanks so much for your reply. I actually disallowed searching via the robots.txt file and will keep it that way until my site gets larger/older more naturally. Because I'm reaching out to each of the major businesses posting these programs in efforts to get them to update each of their programs to unique content I hope be able to index them within a couple years, while removing any programs that don't get attention from their providers. I hope I don't get in trouble for photos posted on my site from the other site. They're user-driven photos so maybe those are treated differently?

Issues Indexing Translated Pages
Hey there, Have you tried uploading the URL's to the Google Search Console and "S_ubmitting to Index_"? https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?continue=/addurl Also, upload the Sitemap.xml and make sure you have proper internal linking so all the pages are easy to get found and crawled. Try this and let me know if it works. Cheers, Martin

Purchased domain with links - redirect page by page or entire domain?
they don't all point to the homepage but they do all point to the same directory on my site. Pointing them elsewhere would mean they'd point to unrelevant pages.

Our site recently switched from http to https. Do I still need to setup a redirect for the incoming links pointing to http?
My question is simply: Do i need to do anything further in the .htaccess file to ensure we don't lose the value coming in from all the external follow links pointing to the http version of the site? And very simply no -Andy
