How important is HON code for a health site? I am working on a client's site (health-related) that was hit by Panda and am wondering if anyone knows of any studies or has any personal experience with Panda & HON code?

Any advice on acquiring "jump to" via anchor link text?
Google says these types of references are generated algorithmically and that users should include a table of contents & descriptive anchor link text. Is there anything else we should take into consideration?
Also, does anyone know how this works with pagination? Due to the design of our site, we can't make one really long article, but would need to divide it up into several 'pages'--even though it would all live on one URL (we'd use the # for pagination).
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Do videos count as duplicate content?
If we allow users to embed our videos on their site, would that count as duplicate content?
I imagine note, given that Google can't usually 'see' the content of videos, but just want to double check.

RE: How to determine the correct number of ad units post-Panda
This applies to Adsense, but can you verify that it also applies for organic traffic?

When you provide traffic estimates, do you factor in CTR?
There are several studies that show CTR based on position.
When a client asks for traffic estimates do you multiply CTR by estimated search volume? Why or why not?

RE: Best way to find broken links on a large site?
Great extension for one page, but what about checking a site with 50000+ pages? Any suggestions?

Where does Google say this?
Just came across this article: http://www.searchmarketingstandard.com/tips-for-avoiding-thin-content
And, it states, "Google says that it will ignore pages with less than 200 words of body text "
I submitted a comment to the author, but was wondering in the meantime if anyone knows where Google says this?

Do you avoid the use of stop words in your keyword optimization?
For example, for the keyword phrase 'the history of the united states,' how would you determine whether or not to include 'the' or 'of' in the title, description, and URL?
Do you tend to use stop words or not in your keyword optimization? Why or why not?

Always include the targeted keyword in the alt tag?
Studies show that using the targeted keyword in the alt tag helps to rank better for a keyword. But what if the keyword doesn't exactly describe the image, would you still use it in the alt tag?
For example, say you have an image of the brain, but the article is about cognitive behavioral therapy -- an accurate description would say 'human brain' but an SEO alt tag may say 'cognitive behavioral therapy'--which would you use?

Does having several long title tags hurt you?
Our title tags are dynamically generated, and some have over 140 characters.
Does having a large quantity of URLS with an excessive number of characters hurt you in any way?

How important is it to clarify URL parameters?
We have a long list of URL parameters in our Google Webmasters account. Currently, the majority are set to 'let googlebot decide.'
How important is it to specify exactly what googlebot should do? Would you leave these to 'let googlebot decide' or would you specify how googlebot should treat each parameter?

Block all but one URL in a directory using robots.txt?
Is it possible to block all but one URL with robots.txt?
for example domain.com/subfolder/example.html, if we block the /subfolder/ directory we want all URLs except for the exact match url domain.com/subfolder to be blocked.
