CTR is a ranking factor in Adwords, but I haven't heard of it being a factor in SEO.  I do see they somewhat track that in webmaster tools.

I agree with Doug - I would never have the H1 containing a logo. It should include 3-5 words that are you main targeted keywords/phrase for that page. (Be it company name, blog name, what you are offering etc) Change the template so the logo isn't inside a H1 tag. I think nearly every SEOer would agree with this.

Hi Dave, The best way to track such things is by using tools such as SERPs Volatility and SERPMetrics Flux. Both tools give information about the recent trends on the top 3 search engines for a couple of thousand keywords. You could see best for yourself if you think this caused the beatings of your Web site. Hope this helps!

Im still getting my hybrid places/natural listings with 5 stars but for some reason a few pages of mine stopped displaying the 5 stars for an unknown reason (maybe traffic)

So I advised him to remove it asap and wait until google has recrawled the site without that on there. What is the next step?  call Google and ask to review the site to see if there was a penalty?
