Certainly adding an SEO tool like sh404SEF to your Joomla site will do wonders. I don't think there is much evidence though that Google prefers once CMS to another. If you plan to migrate to Joomla 3, the latest sh404SEF now supports it.

Try and avoid doing this because at the point Google catches on to what is happening, penalties will be handed out. Just concentrate on writing blog posts and building links the natural way. It can be time consuming, but think about the articles you write and try and make them something completely unique that people will want to link to. Thanks! Is it better to change to HTML5? (SEO value?) If I choose only the 200 good content and create 100 much better new optmized content? What do you think if I broaden my link profile?
