I see that you know it's gone and you also have canonical tags in place. So you should be good. Just verify your website in Google Webmaster Console and submit your sitemap. You'll be indexed pretty soon.

I agree with EGOL and Takeshi. If you want your blog to work and you have a content strategy in place where you will be adding a lot of useful content and you would want that content to rank by itself, I would try to put it on the domain.com/blog. Now you know that already, that's why you asked the question.
**One solution you might have is to find out if bigcommerce can do Reverse Proxy. That way a domain could be hosted at anywhere.whateverdomain.com but to the search engines and everything else it will appear as yourdomain.com/blog. **
The reason a lot of these hosted platforms do not allow wordpress is because of security issues. They then have another piece of software / files / plugins in the same environment which is sometimes a threat.
I would suggest you just nofollow them, so that you are not essentially giving out a link vote to each of those links. This will make sure you are not passing on SEO benefits/link juice to those sites/links.
I would ask the following question:
Regarding those 500 redirects: Do you have external sites linking to any of those 500 pages ?
I would at-least identify pages that have external links and keep them if possible.
Wow, every since BMR (BuildMyRank.com) got booted down, lots of Private Network questions are out there. In simple words, private networks specially when owned by the same person and / or link to the same network of sites are identifiable by automatic algorithms (Think what those Phd's are doing at Google).
Also, you might want to read these similar questions 1, 2.
Keep in mind, you are still prone to risk and whois protection or not, if a human can find it, patterns in linking can also help them identify themselves as networks. Moreover, if these sites are not strong themselves, how are they going to provide value ? so now, you will have to worry about getting links for those 30 sites as well to strengthen them. Otherwise, if there's no inbound links to those 30 sites, there's not much link juice they have to pass.

Interesting question, there are obviously 2 scenarios.
1. Device Category (iPhone/iPad/Android) > Games (Sub Categories)
or
2. Games Category > Device iPhone/iPad/Android
What platform are you using for your website ? Or is this custom ? I'd suggest you do some sort of an analysis and see how users perform searches and prefer to navigate sites like yours. In either case, provide both ways of navigating if you can. Survey a group of audience if you can and get real insight, again...if you can.

Sounds like your client clearly needs the SEO / Webmaster Best Practices cleared out and taken care of. Help the Search Engines Rank your website. Provide them enough information that they can rank you. Too little or Too much, both can lead to "no benefits".
So yes, I would optimize those page titles to both SEO and User Friendly. If nobody is able to see those 210 characters, why have them. Also work on a SEO and User Friendly Description as well as H tags if and as needed.
This is good. It's not an error, its a warning. So you are good from both the duplicate URLs issue as well as the canonical tags I think.

I have seen this happen in GWT several times. I wouldn't worry about it. Keep crawling your website with a crawler like Screaming Frog to identify any of these kinds of issues.

It's important that you don't have a noindex or nofollow in your homepage. That's like blocking your site.
Be default, it's allowed / open. No need to allow it...you can do it, but it's not required in any way. However, as I said first, make sure you are not blocking the bots from indexing you. As soon as the block goes away, you are automatically allowing the bots to crawl and index you.

I think I agree here. It's difficult to have a standard "SEO" page count. It also differs/varies by industry. Whenever I am getting any articles, I give the authors/content writers a general idea of above 500 words or less then 500 words (Short article vs long article) and let them decide what's needed based on what they are writing about. If they have more to write about the subject matter, I don't like the length of the article as long as the scope of the article is focused. They might be done with 400 words and if I tell them 700 words, they might not have something to write about and then I don't want fluff copy in there as well.
I know that does not really answer the question, but we usually try to target small/big articles and the actual length varies by the subject matter.

It might be useful to find influencers in your niches.
Is the URL generating a 404 / included in robots.txt as an exclusion ? If yes, you might want to check with a HTTP header tool to verify the correct 404 is being displayed. Maybe post details here. If nothing works, send a message in the Google support forum and that should do it.

I think it's because you do not have enough domain strength, domain authority / backlinks etc. I see that the site / domain was registered in March. I would continue to work on content as well as some links/citations and don't do everything / every link with your keyword "EMV Cards". Do variants.
Google does crawl the Mobile sites. I have seen that happen several times. The best way to handle this is via robots.txt Lets say your site is yourdomain.com and mobile site is at m.yourdomain.com yourdomain.com/robots.txt User-agent: googlebot-mobile Disallow: / m.yourdomain.com/robots.txt User-agent: googlebot-mobile Disallow: User-agent: Googlebot Disallow: / I hope that helps.
I implemented the canonical tag last year in a similar situation and yes, it's on the original page as well. No issues. Look at eBay.com, they also have canonical tags on all pages including the original page.
I have not seen/encountered any issues. Now when I go check the cache for http://www.example.com/duplicate-url-3.html which has a canonical tag referring to the original-url, Google shows me the canonical URL. The duplicate pages literally disappear from the SERPS, because essentially its like a 301 redirect.
