I agree with Lesley that has a different domain to target each language but if this is not the choice available then use the 301 from domain.com/nl to domain.com in order to reduce to the duplicate content.
Hope this helps!

Tylor if you are not making any major changes to the website then there can be two things that I can come up with.
Try to set Google Alert of this keyword and brand name to see if no one is doing low level link building on your website (keep a check on competitors)
And other thing that is not in your hand is Google testing... Google randomly test many things so may be due to this your site is affecting and as you said that it fixes itself then you don’t have to care much about it and it will be normal soon.
I never heard that to buy a country level domain you should be the nationalist of that country and this is not true as far as my knowledge goes because I have bought different domains for different locations and never had a problem!
If you r target market is US then i would prefer you to go for .com domain but if you have any other specific country as a target then going for any ccTLD is a good idea.
hope this helps!
As far as my understanding goes, if you have one physical location you can only include one business so if you offer gyms and children nursery, you probably have to choose your primary business and include it accordingly or go for any other physical location.
But, I still recommend you asking from a person who usually works in the local SEO industry.
Hope this helps!

If you are getting link back from the mentioned websites to your website, you probably are going to get some traffic from there and as a result you will see those websites in stats.
My advice is to look in to the link profile and see what websites are linking to your website and if you see any suspicious link that point back to your website, you probably should either remove the link or disavow them.
Hope this helps!
If the links in the footer of the website are of the same websites (internal pages) then removing them from the footer (as per my personal experience) will cause ranking fluctuation ...I am not sure why you are removing it but if it is because you want to stay away from the penalty caused by site wide links then IMPO with internal pages this won’t be a problem...
If you really want to remove the link from the footer the best idea is to remove the links one by one and see the impact of it on SERP rankings overall...
From personal Narration if you mean a story about something that happened to you and how you feel about it. Then in that case i am with you... The world is moving towards personalization... even in the SEO world people love to hear personal experiments, tests instead f theory articles!
Technically speaking content that have a touch of personalization tend to go more viral as compare to the one that only talks about boring theory...
I think if you boss want straight 500 words of article and a link at the end to get SEO benefits.... so the time is over for that... today if you are not creating valuable and engaging content you are almost wasting your time as far as SEO is concern!
Hope this helps!
Well branded keywords in SEOmoz have simple meaning... for instance you are receiving traffic from tons of different key phrases from organic, paid and other channels... in organic you are receiving traffic from different keywords some includes your company name and others will be the niche related information keywords...
Branded keywords are the keywords that contain your brand name so that you can get to know that how much traffic is coming on your website with your brand name and how much is coming from other organic key phrases...
There is no formula of winning!
I am working for a real estate industry and can tell you the fact that quality of content impact the most when it comes to rankings for long tail keywords. I think a content between 500 to 1500 words are fine but if you are going to make it too long without any good level of interaction for readers (i.e images and videos) then i personally don't think it will help you increase rankings and traffic.
Ok i guess the problem is that website is crawled but not indexed and there can be several reasons for it...
Here are few things you can do to say hi to Google and in way request them to re-crawl your website....
Hope it will help!
Manny, In my opinion with other domains the process that you have defined is fine and you can go with this but the question that will it increase traffic/rankings to the website is not true in all cases... this might and might not increase rankings of the website as no one knows how exactly Google works!
I think if the link value of 2nd and 3rd domain are good then my suggestion is to 301 redirect the domain to the main website and the reason is because it will pass the link juice... when one website will have all the link juice there is a strong possibility of the website to rank higher against competitive and targeted key phrases.
The reason why you should redirect 301 instead of canonical is because the 2nd and 3rd domain will leave their rankings once you will add canonical tag so it’s better to redirect so that you can enjoy the link juice of 2nd and 3rd domain if available.
Sam nailed it completely!
If you are putting too much effort in guest blogging for the sole purpose of getting links, you should stop right away and consider shifting to Sam’s suggestions.
If link is not the only purposes and you are aware of all the real benefits of guest blogging then I believe investing time on publication is way better because it will take your less time and give you more readerships.
Hope this helps!
Site No indexed in Google has nothing to do with DA or PA of the website as these are the parameters by SEOmoz which are purely based on the number of links a website have!
No index from Google doesn’t means website can’t have links coming from other websites.. so, if there are external links pointing to the website there will be a PA and DA of the website and page.
3 separate companies when offer 3 different services, it’s good to have 3 separate websites as 1 website for 3 different companies can be confusing from the user end and you will witness people bouncing from the website without completing the Goal.
Another thing that I really wanted to clear is that no paid traffic helps in improving the organic SERPs, this is the myth that most website owners have in mind which have nothing to do with reality.
Having 1 separate website for each service will help webmaster to easily work on it and get it rank well from the desired key phrases at the same time it will be easy for visitors to understand what service your company offer and use it when required.
Hope this helps!
If you have issues related to product, Probably the best idea is to email at help@seomoz.org or contact @Moz at twitter!
I didn’t witness any on-page problem in a quick audit but i guess your linking strategy have a problem the links that are pointing back to your website are mostly with a keyword anchor text... I would highly recommend you to build more links with the anchor text that says your brand name.
This is a broad question and I think its way too difficult to come up with such kind of topic as internet is updating every second with something new. There is no tool that can help you with that but here are some ideas you can use to create something that is original that is rarely discussed before (if not never).
- Read as much as possible so that you have a clear idea of what people are talking about and what think about the areas that are missing or things that not much people are talking about it and go from there accordingly.
- Scan forums and QnAs so that you know who is talking what and take the edge from there.
These are two ideas I use but you can always learn more when you started following this path.
Hope this helps!
It’s a very general question to ask without the specific URL/Domain you are talking about!
If you were ranking well but then dropped then there can be many possibilities and page load time is one of them!
Also, check your links and see if the links that are pointing to your website are of quality and relevant or else there is a huge possibility that the dip in traffic is because of the Google Panda/penguin update!
If you have good amount of duplicate content on your site and you are not using canonicalization to fix it, you will see your rankings will go down for your desired key phrases.
Like I said there are many possibilities so I would love if you can be either more specific with your questions or pass the URL!
I agree you need to update your web.config file with the desired instructions!
