Bulk URL Removal in Webmaster Tools
Hi Michael, Is a .htaccess an option? Mention the URL's by hand or with wildcards and give an 410-header code to make sure search engines know these pages are really gone. These links might get you started: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33247849/using-htaccess-to-410-any-wildcard-url-that-contains-a-question-mark http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2014/11/http-410-error-pages-htaccess/ Hope that helps. Site address change: new site isn't showing up in Google, old site is gone.
Whenever you move, here's what we typically recommend: crawl site, make note of URLs set up redirect of old URLs to new URLs test to make sure they're a proper 301 redirect verify all versions of the site in Google Search Console (old site and new site, http and http://www versions as well as https versions) Use the Google Change of Address Tool

Hundreds of 404 errors are showing up for pages that never existed
There have been a few people at Moz with similar problems with GSC. People always throw a few ideas around: maybe Google is creating URLs to try to find pages that it can't find through crawling links alone? Maybe another site was trying to hack your site by creating URLs they were hoping would trigger certain content on your site (a laughable idea now, but I remember my college professor showing us a site that put cost parameters in the URL during check out)? However they got there, though, Eric and Chris gave you some good ways to make sure that you're not still in trouble (if you ever were). Hope this helps!

Where and how much; Schema best practices.
So here's one issue I have; I don't have the company name plastered all over the place. The only place that it actually appears in text format is in the footer. Site image in only in the header, hours of operation are only on the contact page. http://grinbaum.moderninterface.net/ Currently I only have the contact page marked up, and I brought in a hidden div so I could mark up the info that appears only in the header and footer. What would you suggest?

Business Name Change and Local Listings
I would change listings, social media information, and other external items once you've launched the new site. Think of it this way: your website is your main source, while the rest are secondary. Your website should always take precedence when it comes to change, especially when considering consistency with your users. If they go to Yelp, Google+, etc. and see "Bakery Y", but your website still says "Bakery X", it'll be both confusing and inconsistent. As for your second question, about the catering business: Facebook: you can create a new page (try to get a short and related URL!) and "merge" the old one into the new. Ensure that you clarify this change in a post, however, as not to confuse followers! Yelp: Much trickier. In this case, the only option may be to try to change the name of the current listing, rather than creating a new one. Not only are reviews something you never want to give up, the length of time your listing is up actually plays a roll in rankings on Yelp (similar to search engines for websites). Google: This is actually a combination of the two previous. You can keep the page you have now (especially good if you have reviews) and change the name and branding. If there's some reason that's not possible, or if you've yet to create a solid Google Local / My Business, then you may choose to create a new page and contact Google, asking to move assets to the new from the old. The latter is more complicated, and can take a long while, however.

Comment Links and Pingbacks
Hi, About point one: Links in comments can be a great addition to your posts if they are legit and an extent of your post. Typically this is not the case with most comment links. Make sure you clean up any spammy (promotional) links or work with a trusted user system. This way you can promote legit user that are actively participating on your blog to post (do)follow links. I know Yoast.com works that way on their blog. About point two: This discussion on Moz should provide you with an answer: https://moz.com/community/q/do-pingbacks-in-wordpress-help-or-harm-seo-or-neither I hope this helps! Best regards, Bob
