Do I have any harmful links? If so, what should I do?
Looking at your link profile sorted by anchor text, I can see a few things. First of all, your url is your most popular link and that is good. In looking at your next links they are primarily anchor text. There's nothing wrong with that...in fact that's a good thing. But I'm concerned when I look at the quality of those links. They are obviously made by an SEO and not natural. With what we currently believe about Penguin, the fact that the majority of your links are using your url as an anchor is likely enough to keep you from being affected by Penguin. BUT, I would venture a guess that if a competitor decided to file a spam report on you, you could be faced with an unnatural links penalty. I can't say for sure though as I only looked at a few of your links. At this point, if your ranking is not suffering, I'd probably do nothing about these links. But I certainly wouldn't have your SEO company build any more! EDIT...I just saw that you said your rankings are slipping. You'd need to dig deeper into your analytics to see if Penguin actually is an issue here or whether there is something else going on. Here is a resource that may help you figure that out: MyTrafficDropped.com/Penguin

Trying to get on Google page one for keyword "criminal defense attorney san diego". What can I do?
Thanks for all the great advice everyone! I have already started to make a few adjustments to his pages. I ran the seomoz on page optimization report again and it went from a grade D to an A. In terms of Local SEO, I've been working on getting him more citation sources, but he's basically starting from scratch. Most of his competitors that do show up have a ton of Google Reviews and other citation sources such as Insiderpages.com, kudzu, citysearch.com, etc... I'm currently using whitespark to find all the citation sources that his competitors are getting and getting his business profile created. I also registered his business to InfoUSA, Localeze, Yelp, and a few other Legal directories. One problem I noticed with his Google Places page only shows one category (Attorney). The rest of his categories: Criminal Attorney, DUI Attorney, Criminal Defense Attorney, and Immigration Attorney do not show up anymore. (I do know that once you click on the category, it should expand and show the other categories). I did fill out the change request form provided by Google a few days ago and hope that this will fix the issue. I'm not sure if anyone else has experience with this, but would welcome any feedback. I will definitely get started on the Hcard for him though! Thanks Miriam!

What to do if your categories are missing from Google Places/Plus page?
Hi Lucas, Yes, there have been reports of category display issues. See: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!searchin/business/categories$20not$20being$20displayed/business/FehIOOYxWLk/RBgKkezj8_kJ Now, first of all, let's make sure your categories aren't actually being displayed. Go to your Google+ Local Page and actually click on the place where the category is. Do you get a dropdown showing the other categories? For an example of this, go to this page for a jeweler in Buffalo: https://plus.google.com/103156080483607740278/about?hl=en As you can see, this business is showing only 2 categories on the top level interface, but if you click on the categories, a dropdown displays additional categories. I'm wondering if you've overlooked this function. My second question would be whether your categories are violation free. No city names? Nothing spammy? Be sure of this. If neither of these points applies to you, I would recommend that you report the issue via the Google and Your Business forum for direct technical assistance: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/business Hope this helps!
