It may be worthwhile as it pertains to load time. Just find a new host with an IP in the UK if the current one doesn't offer it. It's only beneficial so you might as well if it's not a big pain.

RE: Site maps, Is there any benefit?
If all your pages are not being indexed it would help with that. Also, if your pages are not being re-indexed frequently enough it could be beneficial in this sense. Well I don't know of a study regarding this specifically, I imagine it would be a positive signal that you have one as opposed to not.
This site makes great ones, quickly, easily and free: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
When you add it I'd recommend placing it in this standard location: http://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml
Also, add this location in your robots.txt like so:
sitemap: http://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml

RE: What are the best SEO Auditors/Crawlers?
OMG how did I forget IIS! Thank you for reminding me! I'll add that to the list.

Why do you think I'm doing the comparison

I plan on posting the results on YouMOZ.

What are the best SEO Auditors/Crawlers?
I'm looking for free or paid, web-based or desktop. I'm doing a thorough comparison between them all. So far here's my list:
Alexa Site Audit
Screaming Frog
SEOMoz
SpyderMate
Optify
Web Site Grader
WooRank
Xenu's Link Sleuth
Any other great ones missing from my list?

RE: Keyword ranking not moving
From your explanation it doesn't seem to make any sense that you would be punished for "bathroom vanities" but you are simultaneously increasing your rank for partial exact match longtail variations of that core phrase. It's possible that they manually punished you for that phrase specifically, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. As long as you are growing your links focused around that core phrase in an organic fashion Google should not punish you further for this. I don't see a reason to hold off on it assuming your efforts are within Google's guidelines. I'd recommend some sort of linkbaiting scheme for "bathroom vanities" - an infographic perhaps.

RE: What is the best way to broaden the reach of our website?
Just add new terms and build more quality links that aren't localized. The local terms aren't going to harm you nationally. By the way your home page title is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long =P

RE: Image Replacement Using Cufon (Javascript)
-
It shouldn't have any negative impact at all. If you are concerned about it I recommend implementing Google's Font API instead, they're definitely not going to punish you for that!
-
It will just show regular text if they don't have javascript enabled. Try it yourself, disable javascript in web developer firefox add-on to see what they see. I'd be primarily concerned about mobile visitors, in which case you should should disable cufon for mobile visitors.

RE: Hyphens in Domain Name
businessbrokeralabama.com won't set off any spam flags (not a huge issue since you won't be doing anything spammy, but why set them off when you don't have to?), plus it's quicker to type in and it's an exact match. Exact match domains still carry surprising value, especially in Google. I don't see any good reason to use the hyphenated one, just 301-redirect it to the non-hyphenated.

RE: Link Anchor Text
It would probably be best to focus on one, rather than two. I'd recommend 301-redirecting one domain to the other. Then you capture all that authority and relevance in one place. Since there are more root domains pointing to www.carglass.pt and they are almost the same authority, redirecting www.expressglass.pt to www.carglass.pt would probably be your best bet, since you have better keywords in the www.carglass.pt domain and then you can more easily rank for more competitive/valuable terms.

RE: Do "NoFollow" links provide any SEO value?
The anchor text adds value, but it is minimal relative to follow links. They don't pass authority however. You need a healthy mix of follow and nofollow links or your link profile will look shady and this could have a negative impact if the search engines think you have an unnatural/spammy link profile.
