Moving to a new domain for second time - critical, help needed fast!
Sad to see no reply yet, let me tell the scenario in short: Domain A (two years old, ranking well) A month ago we moved it to Domain B (301 and change of address, everything. After 2 weeks all traffic moved from Domain A to B successfully) Now, for some reasons, unfortunately, we have to move to Domain C. My question is, should I 301 and change of address from Domain B to domain C or from Doman A to domain C? If we should move from A to C, then what do we do with Domain B in GWT? Or we should move from domain B to C? then what to do with A? Please help, this is very rare and critical matter.

Question about using abbreviation
Does your text make clear the meaning of the abbreviation? When we were SEOmoz.org, we never needed to add /search-engine-optimization/ to our URLs, for example.

Changing my pages URL name - HELP NEEDED FAST
That is the best approach, 301 the old to the new. The length of time that it will take Google is dependent on a number of factors, and if the site is new, it can take a while. Take a look at the crawl frequency in Webmaster tools to get an idea of how often Google is visiting your site. As to when to get rid of the old page - Google might not be your only source of traffic, so keep an eye on the 301s in your web server logs, and you can delete the old one once it isn't hit any more. Or you could leave it. Ideally you would be using a CMS so that you don't need to spend a lot of time managing all this. Most CMSs will let you just rename a page and add a 301 link to it, so there is only ever a single page.

Google index graph duration in Google Webmaster Tools
If you don't already, I'd recommend making sure you're sharing your new content socially and encouraging others to do so. Sharing on Twitter has really helped for me. The more your content is shared, either via links or social, the quicker Googlebot will get to it. There's a few tips here from an older article, which might still be worth consulting: http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2223868/How-to-Increase-Googles-Crawl-Frequency Google's general advice on how regularly it crawls a given site is also here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/34439?hl=en Hope this helps, apologies there's no hard and fast 'tell Google to do this', but honestly increasing sharing of links to the content really does help.

Keyword rich domain name and page title
Hi, It is worth remembering that Google may change the way your page title is shown in search results whenever they want, so it can be really hard to control them. You can read more here: http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2342232/Why-Google-Changes-Your-Titles-in-Search-Results In terms of how to write good page titles, there are a couple of things to bear in mind: Write them with the user in mind - what would be most appealing to someone? Include keywords but don't include too many so that the title doesn't read well Keep them short and to the point (see link below) Don't duplicate them across pages, make sure they're all unique Moz wrote the following guide which you may find helpful. There is also a tool so that you can preview titles: http://moz.com/learn/seo/title-tag Cheers. Paddy

Homepage duplicated content - 301 redirection - "Rel="canonical" - Headache
Hi here is how http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php http://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection To determine rather not you should redirect to www. or no-www use http://moz.com/researchtools/ose to figure out which has more back links pointing to it then 301 redirect to that. In terms of if one is better than the other there is really not a difference however if they are both equal meeting having no back links or identical. You might want to go with www. simply because having the subdomain allows you to do some more things like add Google page speed other miscellaneous things in the future. But really go with the one with the most links if there are no links then choose the one you want going to Google webmaster tools to make sure you add both examples.com www.example.com to Google webmaster tools than pick the same URL you chose to redirect to as your main URL Google will then only send Google bot out looking for that URL Here https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/44231?hl=en Hope this helps, Tom
