Unstable ranking
In google analytics, select a week, or month that you were getting good traffic and select compare to the past and then compare organic search sources against a week your traffic was off. The ones with the biggest changes will show at the top of the list. You'll be able to see if some of your terms are losing traffic or if all of your terms are losing traffic equally.

Re="tag" Question
Hi Juana I honestly haven't seen rel = tag being used much. Here's the documentation on it. Here are examples of it being used on live sites. My understanding of it through reading those, are it should only be used for links pointing to or relating to actual tags. Like /tag/ is in the URL etc. I don't think a misuse will penalize you at all, but I'm not sure it will do anything either, unless they are actually tag pages or link. Hope that helps! -Dan

Friendly URLS (SEO urls)
"Yes, with any URL change you will lose rank. There is a golden rule : never change URLS." I respectfully disagree. The golden rule is keep your domain name unless the site is completely nuked. Update URLs to be more SEO friendly, especially if they look like the ones you have. 301 redirect appropriately, and if the new pages have the same content they will simply assume the ranking positions of the old URLs. Test a category first if you're nervous.

Too much backlinks [Penalized]
Are you sure the link are spam? What about your own website? What if links have simply exposed it to Google's on-page filters?

Google webmaster tool doestn allow me to send 'URL and all linked pages"
ndirseo Since you "made a lot of optimization changes" I am going to assume you used fetch as Google a lot as well. If so, you will only have the option to Send URL and all linked pages 10 times per month. You can fetch as Google 500 times. I think the issue here is simply one of bandwidth and overuse. Think of it this way.Fetch as Google was designed to let you see the pages as Google sees them for the purpose of errors, those who had been spammed, etc. As more and more people began using it, they had to limit due to overuse. If you have checked a page with Fetch as Google and it comes back ok, and you do that for the whole site, you should not have to use url and all linked pages that often as the pages are linked. Hope this helps. I Have pointed to where you see the limits in GWMT with image. Here is the link re webmaster tools. Note its next to last paragraph. Hope that helps, Robert D7fxWzN.png?1

Solve "Too many links on page"
Hi guys, We are having a similar problem on our site: partysuppliesnow.com.au There are lots of products on Category pages. However, SEOMoz campaign suggests it as a warning of "Too many links used on a page". Now, what is the best way to solve this problem? Should we leave it, as it is suggested by "smarties954". Or should we use Pagination? If that is the case, how can we control the duplicate content errors. We have a Canonical tag but what link should be given in Canonical?Another question: If we have used Canonical tag in case of pagination, does Google crawl the rest of the pages? best regard, Jarrod

What should I put in 'Define Branded Keyword Rules' -Starting a Campaign
Hey Juana, First start with your company name, then any uniquely branded item OR service you sell EG/ Apple would add Apple, iPad, iPhone, iPod etc EG/ SEOMoz would add SEOMoz, Open Site Explorer, maybe PRO Dashboard (although this is getting to be too broad) etc I would also add things like Models numbers if this is a defining part of you business (EG/ a TV OR car manufacturer) and home page URL's (EG/ www.apple.com) as it is part of your brand... Hope this helps, Dan
