Help! My Domain Authority keeps dropping! What do I do?
If you're just getting started, I'd recommend the Beginner's Guide - http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo Also - You'll want to make sure you've 301 redirected all of your pre-existing .asp URLs to your new .php URLs. You'll lose all of your incoming links with the URL changes unless you are using an extensionless structure.

Pagination for Ecommerce Site - How do I fix this?
Hey there Kristy O, You want to noindex follow meta tag your paginated pages beyond page 1 as you want Page 1 of a series of pages to rank for the keywords that you are optimizing for. By preventing pages 2 though X on a given series from being indexed you "clear up" for Google what pages you want it to focus on. You have Google follow the links on all of those pages as they all point to product pages that you do want to have indexed and ranked. There is also the rel next and prev attributes, but I like the noindex follow meta tag approach as it gives me more control. I If you want to use the canonical tag in this situation. It was recommended that you use the Canonical to link back to a master page that contains everything on page 1,2,3,4 X. They want you to use canonical to have the parts point back to a whole. On most larger sites this is not practical as to load a page with everything on it would take too long. See here for when to use view all page vs not http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2011/09/view-all-in-search-results.html I think that the use of the canonical in this case was more for a 3 part article vs pages after pages of a product catalog. I really only use the canonical to help with things like having the printer friendly version point back to the main version etc. If you want the Guru on pagination - Google Adam Audette http://searchengineland.com/five-step-strategy-for-solving-seo-pagination-problems-95494 Good luck!

Somthing weird in my Google Webmaster Tools Crawl Errors...
Ya, I know I'm not in good shape, you should have seen it before though. I'm a designer turned web kid, cause my family wanted me to take Moondoggie over. I'm really enjoying figuring it out and learning , but it gets difficult flyin solo and this forum is the one place i've found to really ask questions. I'm taking down the social media tracking which is the #.UBFKrzGXT_Q on the urls. from now on I'll try using the minus, old habits with the underscore will die hard though, the e commerce template i have uses the underscore in it's static pages and won't recognize the minus. I'm not quite sure how to get around that? On my index I have I thought that helped this : _Eg: if you go with http://www.moondoggieinc.com/index.php that will return the home page but under a different url then http://www.moondoggieinc.com/ _ ??? But maybe i was wrong? Are there any other ways to make the URL structure better? I am trying to change all of the cat's over to have static pages.... I also have my parameters set so that pg and cat sorts Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help, and I'm so thankful for this forum. KristyO

Page Titles... question about which is better
1. Export all links from Open Site Explorer and additionally any other link profile tool like majestic SEO or anything else. 2. Review the links (depending on the numbers) and spot by domain names first the ones that are looking spammy. 3. Review as much as possibile all / other links from the profile to see if those make sense, if there are any "bad neighbors", sites that are delisted etc. 4. Make a "bad boys" list with the links that you don't like, ask someone else to review them to have a second opinion and if those are not targeting the home page move those urls if possibile and set the target pages to 404 and when that's not an opinion try at least to go after the removal of the links - it's a pain, it's hard work but better safe then sorry. There are also some services online that can do that - lately those are popping up like mushrooms after rain.

Am I jumping the gun? Second guessing myself...
Thank you so much! Working on fixing the page titles, they are 1/2 and 1/2 that way. Is this the correct code to put in my .htaccess file to direct the .asp to .php pages? RedirectMatch 301 (.*).asp$http://www.example.com$1.php and then add in single redirects to the landing pages that don't have the same name? THANKS!!!! KristyO

I need help with setting the preferred domain; www. or not??
Thank you! yes, I have read the articles that you suggested. Makes me think it's not the problem to be honest, but I can't be sure. The industry is pet clothing HAHA! http://www.moondoggieinc.com we already are pluggin away on social media - FB, Twitter, & Tumblr (who doesn't share picutre of their pets in clothes lol!) My homepage is getting better, but pages off of it like /dog-harness-php and /dog-clothing.php are what I'm having trouble with. On-page grades I get A's for both... hmm It's kinda like i wish I had a guide to help in the process of learning seo... seems trial by error right now. I can make most things look pretty, but getting them to search right is hard!
