The use of Markup language
Yes I have read almost every Google guideline and post about it. I guess I will delete the description from the organization as that text is not found as such in the page. Thanks for the answer and for the help during these days!! The Kilgray Team

Localizing URLs Path - Hreflang
Hreflang markup specifies which pages belong in a cluster. In the section of your HTML, you use tags to specify which URLs belong in the same cluster. The same set of tags should be on each page in the cluster. If your pages are passing the Hreflang validation then you already have this markup on your page.

How long does Google takes to re-index title tags?
Hi, I am contacting you guys again. Google has re-indexed our site completely. The only thing is our home page which remains with the old title tag... Any reason as to why this remains unchanged? See screenshot here: http://screencast.com/t/COF3cN9zC5

Page Authority for localized version of website
Correct. I just confirmed that it is how Mozscape handles the hreflang tag. We do not yet transpose the actual value of the canonical version onto the hreflang variant. You should, in theory, assume the Page Authority of your homepage is identical with the Page Authority of the de.* variant. At least, that appears to be the way in which hreflang is supposed to be handled.

International Targeting - Google Search Console not recognizing the tags
Hi Aleyda. I just stumbled on this thread because I'm having the exact same problem as Kilgray Marketing was – Google Search Console isn't recognizing the hreflang tags on my client's site: cbisonline.com/eu https://cbisonline.com/eu I realize this thread is closed since you've already answered the original question, but I was hoping you might be able to provide some insight on my situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...

Hreflang no reciprocal
I ran my Hreflang testing tool for your URL and got these results: https://app.hreflang.org/results.php?runid=12cf3a998a6fa864dd2a5ca02bc4bbdc20160204192756 So what Peter said is correct. And if you need to make changes and test again, you can use the tool again.

SEO for a a static content website
Can you redirect the old help pages to the new help pages? Or are the old pages still present because people are still referring to them for old versions of the software? Do you have any flexibility to change the help page Content Management System or coding? The HTML frames being used are antiquated and a waste of your time to try and support. Can you edit the HTML of the subpages that are within the frames? Those HTML pages have sections and you should be able to set the <title>within them like any other HTML page. They will possibly get indexed with URLs such as <a href="http://kilgray.com/memoq/2015/help-en/memoq_help_title_page.html">http://kilgray.com/memoq/2015/help-en/memoq_help_title_page.html</a> even though they will get redirected to <a href="http://kilgray.com/memoq/2015/help-en/index.html?memoq_help_title_page.html">http://kilgray.com/memoq/2015/help-en/index.html?memoq_help_title_page.html</a>.</p></title>

Http://flang.dejanseo.com.au/ vs Google WebMaster tool
If the change was done after the crawl date it's probably that. You could try to do a fetch & submit to index on both pages and then check if the error persists. In my experience - the test from dejanseo is doing a good job. It it doesn't list an error your implementation should be ok. Dirk

Best practice for URL - Language/country
Hi Peter, Both really good answers to your questions above but maybe it would be good to give you some further pointing in the right direction. Perhaps you could answer the questions below and I can give you my personal opinion on which method would be best: will you be putting an equal amount of marketing (content, PR, etc.) into the Spanish version for example compared with English? are you able to offer fully localised service eg, Spanish customer service, Spanish sales team etc.? is your company well-known globally? It's important not to also forget that another option is using ccTLDs (eg, .co.uk, .com.au). These give the highest signal to search engines about the country being targeted and also importantly make you look more "local" which can do wonders for increasing conversion rate in countries where your company is not well-known.

Hreflang Tags - error: 'en' - no return tags
Strictly speaking - you are not using the correct url in the link. Your code: => however this url doesn't exist but is 301 redirected to https://de.yourdomain.com/**a**bout-us Could you try changing the url to small caps & test again with the hreflang tester flang.dejanseo.com.au (which is also indicating the same error as WMT) Dirk

Subpages and Title tags
This is great advice. And don't forget in Search Console (Webmaster Tools) under Crawl in the sidebar you can use the URL Parameters tool to tell Google which parameters are used to paginate. You're directly telling Google then that that's how you would like those pages to be seen. In addition to using rel="prev"/"next".
