RE: Shoing strong for last 2 years for search terms NOW GONE! What happened?
A couple of things I'd do right away:
Look in Google Webmaster Tools to see if there are any notices there (I'm going to assume that it's Google where you are no longer ranking).
Look in your analytics to see if there was a particular day that you dropped off. You can then look to see if that coincided with any known algorithm update.

RE: Why moz is not showing My Website External Backlinks?
It looks like the site was just registered in January, which means it's fairly new. Moz updates their index about once a month, so it takes a little while to crawl and display the links. In addition, Moz isn't able to crawl the entire web (though their index is getting a lot bigger), so they may miss some of your links.

RE: Domain Name search in google not appearing
I'd verify your site in Google and Bing webmaster tools and see if there are any messages there.
I'd also look and take serious stock of your content. I see other sites having the same content -- I don't know who the original source is, but I wasn't able to find any content that was unique to just your site.

RE: Video Hosting Service or YouTube?
Phil from Distilled weighed in on this question today in a different thread at www.seomoz.org/q/best-way-to-host-video; his answer might help you as well.

RE: Is there any decent web browser that still displays the full page title at the top of the page?
In the new version of Firefox, I believe you can go to View, Toolbars, and select title. I did that for the whole two hours or so I kept 29, before downloading 28 and reinstalling.

RE: Shoing strong for last 2 years for search terms NOW GONE! What happened?
I looked at some of your content, and some of it seems quite thin, such as the regulations for each state. There's really only a couple of sentences (in the instances that I saw) that deal with the individual state, and then there's a lot of boilerplate content, navigation, and other site elements that are the same from page to page. Just one more thing to think about.

RE: Mechanical Turk
Reading the list of things that violate Mechanical Turk policies is probably a good idea. You can check out a lot of information at https://www.mturk.com/mturk/help?helpPage=policies. Some specific information includes that these types of things are not allowed:
What are some specific examples of HITs that violate Amazon Mechanical Turk policies?
- HITs requiring disclosure of the Worker's identity or e-mail address, either directly or indirectly
- HITs requiring registration at another website or group
- HITs that directly or indirectly promote a site, service, or opinion
- HITs that violate the terms and conditions of an activity or website (for instance asking Workers to vote for something)
- HITs that have explicit or offensive content, for instance, nudity, but do not have the Adult Content Qualification
- HITs asking Workers to solicit third parties
- HITs that generate "referred" site visits or click-through traffic
- HITs that ask Workers to take action to manipulate a website's behavior or results
- HITs that violate intellectual property rights of any party
- HITs that require Workers to download software

RE: How do you decide which answers to trust on here?
Even if we don't always chime in, the SEOmoz staff and associates are here and we review the questions and answers. We'll add a comment if something isn't quite right, or endorse a good answer, or provide an answer ourselves. The thumb system is in place here like it is on the blog, so you can see if others have agreed or disagreed with a particular answer.
I second what Ryan Kent says as well -- if you need more information or an answer doesn't feel write, ask for the additional citation or more background.
Welcome to Q&A, and I look forward to seeing what you have to say. Please feel free to use the Feedback links for any comments to SEOmoz that you may have about the site!

RE: Does word order matter for exact match bonus?
Though try 'free drug' and 'drug free'. Word order does matter a tad for that one.

RE: Does SEOMOZ have article writing software?
No, we don't offer any article writing software. We do have a lot of resources regarding creating content, including our blog section on content at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/category/1 and in our beginner's guide at http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo/how-usability-experience-and-content-affect-search-engine-rankings.

RE: Site not showing up in Google search since move
The home page has a robots noindex on it, which won't help things. Couple of other pages do too, when I do a spot check. I'd check your settings in Wordpress.

RE: Why isnt this site ranking?
Looks like you may have been hacked at some point. Go to Google in incognito mode, and type site:vonderhaar.com and start going back a few pages. This page is an example of a blog page that is filled with spam http://www.vonderhaar.com/blog/kprsd40080f/. Looks like it might have just happened, as I see today's date on at least one of the posts.

RE: Sky Lancers: What is the deal?
It looks like it's related to a toolbar where people are paid to click on ads. Skylancers.net and skylancers.com appear to be connected, based on the whois info, and on this FB post http://www.facebook.com/pages/Skylancers/200579273364198\. Check out the dot com site for some more info.

RE: Significant Drop in Rankings without Explanation
Jeff, it's actually a different situation here. A couple of weeks ago, a large number of links stopped showing for many people in GWT, but their rankings stayed the same. In this poster's case, the actual rankings are changing.

RE: Sell your writing or make your blog to publish it ?
I have a slightly different suggestion, and it's about what not to do. I have emailed you privately, but have not heard back, so I apologize but I need to put this in the public forum. Please do not include a link to your site in every single question, response, and comment you make. It makes people think that the only reason you are writing is to get a link, and will result in thumbs down on your answers, and eventual banning from the system if it continues. You are welcome to include the URL of your site when it is relevant to the question, but only when it is directly relevant.
Regarding your question, will you be writing in English, or writing in your native language? Do you have expertise in the area for which you are writing? The quality of the writing itself and of the content will help determine the type of price you can get for selling your writing, or how often people will come to your site to see your content.

RE: Moving Site from HTTP to HTTPS
Thomas, when you have a moment, could you go back and edit your response and remove some of the extra spaces and make the formatting flow a bit better? Thanks!

RE: Website completely vanish from search engine
Also, some of the links to that site don't look like they're of the best quality. Have you looked at Open Site Explorer to see some of the links coming in to the domain?
I'm seeing links to the site on pages with over 9,000 blog comments (that have no other content), and an .edu page from 2009 with 2600 spam comments.

RE: Link idea? good or bad?
Is there more value in spending 3-6 months in doing the coding plus content for several sites, or would there be more value in spending that effort in developing content for your main site? Which is more defensible when the search engines update algorithms? I'd vote for spending the effort on my main site rather than other sites.
