Buddy Press Nightmare Please Help
Why not keep Buddypress, but disallow search-bot traffic to the root directory where it resides? You can easily do that in robots.txt. User-agent: * Disallow: /buddy-press-directory/

Www. compared to http://
Greg's response is correct: Be consistent throughout the site - either use www or don't, but definitely don't switch back and forth. Implementing canonical tags is important, especially if you don't implement redirects as directed below (though you need to do both, preferably). I have two additional concerns: Implement redirects. There should be sitewide redirects so that if you decided to use http://domain.com and a user types in http://www.domain.com, they are redirected. This should work for subpages as well, so http://www.domain.com/subfolder/page.html is redirected to http://domain.com/subfolder/page.html Be consistent with linking as well: If you decide to go without www, then make sure all of your link building activities do not include the www. in the links you use. While people will be redirected just fine, there is a small loss in value during that redirect and we want to get as much value from the links as possible. So, use the exact url you want linked, not a secondary version.

Does having mulitste wordpress with same templaes hurt you?
We do excactly that. We have a wordpress installation with 50+ niche blogs and another with 5 magazines. It has many advantages, to use the same codebase. And even to use the same theme as we do on: http://www.naanoo.com http://www.techboom.de http://www.stylingqueens.de because, every step towards better usability, crawlability etc. helps all your sites. If all you sites are conform with the Google guidelines i don't see any problems doing so. Our experience with it is good.

Does adding your google plus page help stop scrapping
Hello Jason, Scrapers can always remove your G+ profile image and link, but if you add it to all of your articles and your site has your own profile page and you link the G+ profile to your own profile page, at least google will know that you are real and you are claiming ownership of the content. It is too soon to tell if this is the answer, but it is what google says and it is what we are doing. Here is a short video I made to explain how to do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccVX2q_nbGo
