On page link question, creating an additional 'county' layer between states and zips/cities
1000 links per page is probably too much. Google used to recommend having 100 or less, although their crawlers have improved a lot since then. It all depends on how high your page authority is, because that pagerank is going to be split between each and every link on the page. The more links you have on a page, the less pagerank each link will receive. If you have a really high authority page, this is no problem, but if you're a medium to small site, I would recommend against it. If you have a low authority page, Google may not even bother to crawl all the links on the page if it has too many. So yes, splitting up those massive pages of links into smaller sub-pages makes a lot of sense. Also, think from a user perspective what is going to be the best way to navigate your massive site.

Unable to build google local listings, are citations still useful?
Hi Ilya, No, there is not a backdoor way that I could advise. Google+ Local is all about local businesses and that does not fit your business model. Regarding citations: A citation is typically defined as any mention of your company name with full or partial contact information (address, phone number). It does not need to contain a link to your business. If it does contain a link, this would obviously help your business, overall, in the organic SERPs. If it is a non-linked citation, I suppose that might increase the prominence of your overall business, in that it would appear that lots of sites are talking about your company, but as you don't have physical offices, you would presumably be promoting places that don't really exist. In my view, that doesn't make sense. Regarding creating profiles at Yahoo & Bing: Yahoo's Local Listings Guidelines are here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/ysm/ll/guidelines/local-01.html These guidelines state: Provide accurate contact information. You must provide an accurate business address (including a valid street address) and phone number. I cannot turn up Bing's guidelines for some reason, though their FAQ is here: http://www.bing.com/businessportal While I cannot find them, I am pretty confident that their policy is similar to Google's and Yahoo's, in that they want physical businesses, not virtual ones, in their Business Portal. Regarding How Google Can Tell You're Virtual: I imagine they have a variety of strategies. One I've heard discussed is that they can tell via streetview, if something looks fishy to them. Another would be what you are saying about your company on your website, and what others are saying about you. If your business model is clearly virtual, chances of fooling Google are slim to none. So, I'm afraid this isn't the answer you're hoping to hear, Ilya, but my advice would be to work on your organic SEO rather than trying to fit your virtual business into the Local box, because it's just not the right platform for what your company offers.

Duplicate Content on Product Pages
Okay here are two links from one of the sites: http://www.allitsupported.com/atlanta-it-support http://www.allitsupported.com/chicago-it-support As you can see the duplicate content is on both pages as well as all the location pages. I'm not really sure where to use the rel=cannoical tag for this site? Also we need all the duplicate content ,so im not really sure what to do in that aspect as well? The other links are here: http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/residential/antivirus-support/agnitum/ http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/residential/antivirus-support/agnitum/ http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/delaware/computer-repair-delaware/ http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/connecticut/computer-repair-connecticut/ http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/illinois/city/computer-repair-bondville/ http://www.computerrepairservicesusa.com/illinois/city/computer-repair-cleveland/ As you can see for the first two links, the first paragraph is the same with just one word differing. While the description of the vendor is unique I'm not really sure what to do because we need all the content. i'm not postive where the rel=cannoical would go in this situation? As you can see for the third and fourth links, there is numerous duplicate content such as, towns, zip codes, and the first quater of the page. I'm not really sure what to do because we need all of the content. Also i'm not sure where to use the rel= cannoical in this situation? For the five and sixth link this is universal across all the towns and city's. What I mean by this is the first quarter of the page is duplicate as well as the towns' are all duplicate to that specific state. Once again we need all the content, so i'm not really sure where to put the rel= cannoical on this page. I hope that is not confusing to you. It is a bit hard to explain over the text thanks.

Linkedin profile severely penalized
Odd, right? Seems slightly backwards. But you are educated enough on SEO to know all the common sense things...and if those don't work..?! Then again, you may just not be getting very good advice

Best practice for rich snippet product data - which page shows up?
I really recommend you watching the video I posted below, it is a SEOmoz webinar on Rich Snippets. The markup should be on the product pages themselves, the offurl tag could complicate things. The other questions that you have I'm not too sure of. I hope this helps. Zach microformats-real-life-use-cases microformats-real-life-use-cases

Seo using images
You could make them available via Creative Commons on condition that a link is provided back to the originator's website if they're used. Google have recently stated that they've made an improvement to their algorithm in the way that size is a ranking factor, so make sure the large versions of the image are of decent dimensions, but don't forget to compress the image. And keyword related filenames and alt tags will help people find them of course. Do the pictures look AMAZING? Unique? Professional? If they're great/different photos it'll make people more likely to share them. Some studies have shown that photos with eye contact can be more successful, is the jewellery modelled? And pictures of cute animals always go down well, how about jewellery for dogs, cats, or chameleons etc? How about offering free photos and jewellery to influential bloggers in the niche in return for a review and link? If you created the best step-by-step guide to making jewellery on the Internet, that would get a load of links, but as your client has only just agreed to share the images perhaps they won't be open to doing something like that yet...

How important are different class c subnets and ip's
Sounds like you're trying to outsmart Google. Here's my advice: If you have a legitimate reason for creating independent blogs, then by all means do so, but do it out in the open where everyone, including Google can see it, because Google will see it anyway. They have tools of detecting "administratively related" sites that we can't even comprehend. It goes way beyond ip addresses, class c subnets, Google analytics profiles or whois registration data. if you have a relationship with a group of sites, chances are they will figure it out algorithmically. As an example, the Theme Forrest folks do a great job of this with their collection of websites (try the drop-down navigation in the header to see the relationships) But aside from navigation, there is not a lot of inter-linking between these sites to my knowledge. It's actually pretty common to run a number of sites under the same company. Danny Sullivan runs Search Engine Land and Marketing Land, and has a number of other sites. These all link to each other naturally. But be careful. If you're doing this solely for SEO benefits, the temptation to optimize your links and overdo it may be too great, and you may end up in a place you didn't intend. If, on the other hand, the different sites can all stand alone on their own merit, this may be a great idea. Best of luck!

Example: is this what Penguin is designed to stop?
yep. you're right. I think i was very tired at the point that i read it(I do a lot researching and reading on seo). In theory the Google Penguin Update should look at that site and say "that's not right, what does vacation rental, and computers have to do with hotels?" One reason that Google hasn't done anything about it is because it probably has not re-crawled the page, or it by-passed with enough content before the links at the bottom of the page.

Boosting page authority/rank by linking from blog
I tend to agree with Catalyste - in theory, those links will help you, but in practice Google is probably going to devalue that blog network over time. It's just too easy to link to your own sites that way. Contextual links like that are definitely safer these days then obvious, sitewide links (like footer links), but I'd definitely proceed with caution. At least make them relevant and vary the anchor text - don't over-engineer it. In most cases, it's more of a filter issue than a penalty. If you link a handful of blogs you own to your own site, it'll probably help for a while, and then Google may turn the volume down. If you're cross-linking 20+ sites, then you're risking a more severe problem.

White Hat way to do blog commenting
I think that your time would be better spent working on your own site - especially after you have already gotten one or two posts on these "unspammed" blogs.
