How much content is it safe to change?
I would have absolutely no concerns over changing your content, as long as you are confident you are changing it for the better.

Site Redesign Inconsistent Trailing Slash Issue
Hi Justin, Sounds like you already know what you're doing! I would proceed with exactly what you have said and wouldn't be worried at all about the loss of authority between redirecting to a URL without a / to a URL with a /. The loss of authority will be almost insignificant and you will not lose your rankings or organic traffic from from doing this.

How to Push Free Offer for Links, Likes and Shares.
Here are a few ideas: Create a nice landing page and drive traffic to it from native ad platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In.... Partner with "groups" on Facebook, Linked-In and G+ to offer their members free business cards e.g. https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/104764329569377268904/stream/7596df91-7935-400c-9e8c-479f3b0a403b?hl=en Write guest by-line articles for small business sites about how to go off on your own and start a design business on a budget, and include references to your landing page for free business cards All of this assumes that the landing page has some sort of pre-qualifying questions since you mentioned "select" graphic designers and illustrators. I think partnering with design groups to offer their members free cards would be a good way to go. You can find groups of designers on just about very major social media / networking platform on the web. You can even try local groups from Meetup.com and elsewhere. You could partner with a design conference, or a graduate school... You could buy placement in a design-related newsletter, etc...

Twitter Personas
Then it is not a twitter persona which is the act of playing a social role. In this case you are just playing a natural social role and should have no problem interacting with said designers. Anyways I looked at your twitter profile, I think it would be fine. Since you describe yourself as a Web Designer on here, you should also describe that on your twitter profile. From a professional stand point, using your personal account will put more of a face on your account when you socialize with users. I think @justinmarch would be better off than using an account like @BestWebDesignerEvar. As long as the method of approaching someone clearly outlines your objective, you should have no problem. Don't lead people to figure it out for themselves. We are all lazy and the amount of people that will research you because you did a @reply to something they said will be far less than a direct message complimenting on their design work that you took time researching.

International Issues | | GrouchyKids0 -
UK Google Results .com V's .co.uk
Heres some 2010 data showing google /overall/ share going up http://www.adept-seo.co.uk/uk-search-engine-usage-statistics-2010.html Last stat I heard from an SEO was about 90%+ use .co.uk, but I've never seen their source As a way out finding out the comparision, you could identiify what causes people to not be re-directed correctly, and then work out what % of users that is (as that should be most of everyone unless your dealing with tech crowd) That would also answer if it is possable or not to track the data. On boosting your rankings If they're on .com and not showing the uk pages, then they're being treated as an international. In which case anything that would boost traffic from the US for example, would probably work on them as well. Namely Global relivence signals. Of course, if your UK only, this might be somewhat difficult to do.
