DNS lookup timeout
I'd definitely check out how much bandwidth you're using with your hosting company and if you need to expand it to compensate for the increase in traffic.

Date stamp in the SERP
Google will also pick up on dates on comments, and sometimes it seems to randomly pick dates. Graywolf has done some testing around this and WordPress.

Date in the video search results
I'm not sure about this, if you will embed a YouTube video you would say they would be able to determine to the publication date because Google ownes the data. You could give it a try by testing.

Canonical
Pagination is tough, and Google has sent really mixed signals. They seem to suggest one of two approaches: (1) Use the new rel=prev/rel=next tags (tricky to implement, and Bing doesn't honor them, but they do seem to work) (2) Rel-canonical to a "View All" page from paginated results (pages 2+) Adam Audette did a great post recently on pagination: http://searchengineland.com/five-step-strategy-for-solving-seo-pagination-problems-95494 To Simon's comment, I've also had decent luck using META NOINDEX,FOLLOW on pages 2+ (although I'd definitely recommend that before Robots.txt). The only issue is if people are linking to those search pages - that's pretty rare, though. All in all, paginated search results have very little SEO value.

Microdata / Rich snippet
Hi, It's quite easy, within the implementation of your microdata you're using at the moment probably this: 24 As you can see this item property is relating to "votes". If you change it to "count" as in the following example you will probably see your snippets change to reviews instead of votes just like you want it. 24 To make sure you're snippets are working like you want, the Rich Snippet Testing Tool could be a solution to test, and with my advice above you will also see the change for your rich snippets. More information about rich snippets for reviews in general could also be found here.
