Hi Joe,
It's know that from update to update the Backlink count may vary that much. It doesnt mean that all your external links have desapeared.. It's just a minor bug at mozscape.
Don't worry.

Hi everyone,
I'm replying just to add that, improving your PA/DA metrics wont assure you better rankings. Moz's metrics are mostly calculated through link metrics. I'd suggest you, as Mª Verónica did, to focus more on improving your onpage, content and technical stuff rather than some private metrics.
That's one of the main reason, I guess, why Mª Verónica gave you some advises looking at your website.

Hi Mickey,
There are 2 ideas to say here:
Regarding the "competition" between sites, it depends whether they are focused on to the same kwywords. That would not be right. There should be different targeted term for every page/site.
My opinion: Stay as a sudirectory. Work hard in on-page optimization.

Hi there!
1- If you are referring to the descriptions to be shown in Google SERPs: Meta descriptions, there is no direct SEO harm in having them all the same. Although, having a specific description for each product/page could potentially improve CTR. If it is possible, optimize those to have better SERP performance.
2- If you refer to the content on the page, for each product, those need to be different so as google understands that they are not nearly duplicate and considers that many pages only respond to the same user intent or to only a few number of Google search terms.
Hope it helps.
Best luck.

Of course its related to the same bug.
just to clarify, you didn't change or redirect the main domain? Https, www to non-www, re-brand or checked a different URL?
Hey there,
Moz's metrics are updated almost daily.
If you don't see any change is because there were no changes on the backlinks that point to that page, or no new backlinks. You have to give it time to Moz's bot to crawl the pages where your backlinks are.
Keep in mind that, there is no difference in Google whether Moz has or hasn't seen your links.
I'd advise against any of the 'tactics' that are out here to make google recognize faster your links.
If you want more information about Page Authority, here the official Moz's resource:

Hope it helps,
Best luck.

You're welcome.
Take a look of the links that are pointing to your sites. There might be some to disavow. Use also complementary platforms: ahrefs, magestic, or others.
A spam score of 2 is not big deal. Monitor your backlinks and do not do spam
Best Luck!

Hi there!
Improving Meta descriptions in order to get higher CTR won't be penalized by Google unless you do something black hat or include some forbidden words.
My experience showed:
1- There is always a set of title+meta description that can optimize CTR for a single page. Remember to focus on the main keyword, as a page can rank for several search terms.
2- Improving CTR doesn't always get better rankings, but hell it brings more traffic! That's what you should be aiming, not only better rankings.
As Nozzle said, experiment carefully and make one change at a time.
Hope it helps.
Best luck.

Hi Rocio,
Have you tried YOAST SEO plugin? It has an option to ad to the tags.
That's the easiest way I'd go for.

Hi there,
Yeap, the frequency between updates is the same, regardless the plan your paying.
You can check the history in updates and the next update date: Mozscape API updates
Fist thing to say here is that you should not rely on PA, DA or any other tool's metric. They do not tell google where it should rank, it even the opposite: Every tool tries it's best to understand and put in metrics what they think google will took into consideration to rank.
Moz, in this case analyze specially the backlink profile and the metrics are (re)calculated every time the API is updated. This goes to respond the fact that you the new pages have PA=1, what is correct because they are not in Moz's index. It's been suggested to wait at least two updates for having those new pages included in the index.
On the topic about ranking to the 1st page and competing with pages that have about PA30, you should not worry about increasing metrics, rather than creating unique content and having every onpage aspect of your pages correctly done and of course that should come along with aswering that specific query/user intent.
Hope it helps.
Best luck.

Can you post what was the issue? (without telling the web)
Hi Luke,
I've never used Searchmetrics. Instead I've used (and currently using) Ahrefs and SEMRush, both bring all the position crawled for a specific domain.
Of course, they have limitations. Depending on the subscription, the country's search engine, and so on.
In my opinion, the best tool is WMT (as you might know). Im assuming that you want information about competitors or potential clients wich you dont have WMT permits.
Best Luck.

Hi there.
There is the rule: do not show google duplicate content. So, having both, with and without the trailing slashes is an issue.
If you dont want or think is not necessary a redirect... you can set a canonical. As you said, moz doesnt have a redirect, instead has a canonical.
Check it out: view-source:https://moz.com/community/q/
Hope it helps.

Damn it. You're right.
I'll retract my self.
Dispite my mistake, is there a chance that the add this iframe may be harming that site?
Hi Paul,
What Bernadette says has a lot of truth.
Even, there's been some recently changes in 3xx redirection rules. And a great professional (Cyrus Shepard) wrote a nice piece of text about that in the Moz Blog.
Check it out! 301 Redirects Rules Change: What You Need to Know for SEO
In my opinion, historically 301 are better than 302, if you can set 301, do it.
Best Luck.

Hi Billy,
As Im able to understand from your question, I see 3 key points to chat about:
Local SEO: It looks like you need some advices on optimizing for Local SERP results. As I am not an specialist in that field, I'd be referring you to some articles about that. Study them, apply what you can and if you have some trouble understanding or impacting anything, shoot other question here in the forum.

Location Data + Reviews: The 1–2 Punch of Local SEO - Moz Blog
New Research: 35% of Competitive Local Keywords Have Local Pack Ads - Moz Blog
45 Local SEO Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them - Moz Blog
Adwords Keyword Planner and/or other kw tools: There hs been a lot of chat about having a nice and acurate source of information about search volume and competition. Its known that adwords' kw planner does not give us (in SEO, not in paid) a reliable data. One of the latests Rand's WhitBoard Friday is exactly what you need here:
Why Google AdWords' Keyword Volume Numbers Are Wildly Unreliable - Whiteboard Friday
Time gathering information: There is no need to wait any time. For any tool data you use, it will be data from past time and rarely will differ from one week to another. It could be different for any given month, because of seasonality.
As a general advise, Google a lot and try to follow some of the authoritative communities and blogs that share advises. Like Moz blog, Ahrefs blog, Search Engine Land, SEMrush and many others. Itś really hard to comment any solution or help you when the question is this generic.
Hope it helps you.
Best luck.

PS: Please edit the other questions, so as not to have duplicate ones: https://moz.com/community/q/keyword-tool-best-practices
Yeap it's really rare. Even more rare that WMT doesn't scream any error.
To check my mistake, i've run a screaming frog too. Sorry.
Hi Paul,
No, there is no detrimental in SEO purposes in hoting several sites in the same server/IP.
Subdomains are treated as separate sites from the main domain. So there will be no harm in that.
Best Luck.

Hi there!
Its completely correct that all those different variations have different metrics.
The advice here should be:
Google does understand that you might have different versions and that you should select one and say to Google that.
Authority and linkpowerness will be taken into account by google.
There is also a great post from Cyrus Sheperd, stating that redirects do pass authority correctly:

Hope it helps.
Best luck.
