Hi Sbatx,

I have not seen button sitelinks in the serp, but are you sure that they were organic? I have seen pappa Google test out new things like images sitelink extensions in AdWords. Check out this article by Search Engine Land and let me know if that is what you saw.

I agree with  James. Move them all into one carefully & methodically. Start with crawling all the sites and getting a good idea of how many pages you are dealing with & where they would 301 on the new site. Slow and steady amigo.

I agree with seoman10 in that it is often difficult to get accurate results, especially when a client is out of state and you are trying to replicate what they are seeing. One saving grace is that some tools, like SemRush actually allow you to set where you want to search from ex: if your client is in Little Rock Arkansas & you are located in NYC you can set your rank tracking from Little Rock and it is actually pretty accurate. Nothing is 100%, but we have found this is pretty reliable.
